Do check it out yourself. You'll be surprised on how much better the viewsonic is compared to the reviews.

I didn't even consider Acer. The shops never display any Acer anyways. |

I still think VX2433wm is the best buy for a sub RM700 monitor.

I did compare 2494HS with the VX2433wm but I don't know...I prefer the VX2433wm. I feel the VX2433wm's color is more vivid and lifelike.

I'd recommend Viewsonic VX2433wm. Promotion @ RM685 only @ LYP.
With every cable you need except HDMI cable. |

Full HD plainly means that the monitor supports the native resolution of 1920x1080. Correct me if I'm wrong.
It is not that important for PC gaming since the resolution for games can differ between games. Also depends on your hardware whether can it cope playing with 1080p. As for consoles, full HD is recommended. Also take note that for console use, make sure you have HDMI input on your monitor. |

Do you mean by using 4:3 resolution? e.g 800x600? |

I never tried that. I believe I saw the setting in the OSD.

I never had that problem. I don't know about you but that seems like a negligible problem for me.
Try and look for other monitors' problem then if you are that keen in finding faults. You might end up not buying at all. And one more, why don't you quote the comment from that video? Remember, its easier to find faults than to point out the good things. This post has been edited by faidz85: Sep 15 2009, 09:44 AM |
