Hi. I'm a new xigmatek product user
bought my midgard II window casing and xaf-f1254 fans from lingloong.
really satisfied with the service given. thank you notworthy.gif thumbup.gif

a little bit review on the casing and the fans

the xaf fans are really good. thumbup.gif
you'll notice the wind-blowing like sound when you turn on or turn off your pc
the sound of the fans aren't noticeable after a while..

really satisfied with the casing. rclxms.gif
there is the smooth feel for front and top cover when you touch it. rubber-like feel but smooth. nice touch. thumbup.gif

installing the motherboard wasn't hard. the casing comes with 2 pre-installed motherboard stand-off. you need to install the other stand-off by yourself. all the necessary tools are given.

cooler master 212 evo fits just enough in the casing.
any taller than that can cause a problem.

installing the psu is a bit of a problem.
i use enermax revolution 87+ 750w 80+ Gold(a very good power supply indeed. worth every money)
i can install only 2 screws to put the power supply into place using upside down installation(power supply fan facing the bottom of the casing) and making me unable to install the bottom fan bcoz of the modular cables.
(if i install it wrongly, let me know)

there are dust filters on the bottom of the casing for both the power supply and bottom fan.

the front dust filter works well coz i can see the dust on it which means it can't go inside the casing. well sort of..

tool-less design for installing any 5.25" drive is good coz have on both side.

also there is a slim drive bay on top of the 5.25" bay(that you can't use to install normal dvd drive) which means you can use your laptop dvd drive on it. i haven't try that yet coz my laptop dvd drive sucks.
it'll worth when you have a slot-load drive that makes it look cool. thumbup.gif

the hdd cage is well built coz top hdd cage can be pulled out leaving some room for larger graphics card and airflow. just like corsair 500r style. thumbup.gif

the top hdd dock works fine compatible with 2.5”/3.5” hdd.

cable managment is a bit challenging for me as this is my first time building with a true mid tower casing. not like my last cap ayam casing. XD

overall,i'm satisfied with the casing. thumbup.gif icon_idea.gif

as you can see in this picture, i can only mount the power supply using point B and F screw holes.

Attached Image
sorry for the blurry image.
point A is not a screw hole. it is part of the grill.
point B is where the screw hole is but only half of it.

Attached Image
no screw holes on this part.

You need to apply some force and adjust according to the screw hole. For your case, try press the PSU a little bit to make the right side hole visible to screw in smile.gif

Don't expect much from any sleeve bearing fans. Ball bearing would last forever but is the most expensive. FDB and SSO bearings are fans that people should at least go with.
