QUOTE Holding the home button will no longer force quit an unresponsive application. To force quit an application in 3.0 hold the sleep/wake button until the red power off slider appears. Then hold down the home button to quit the unresponsive application. Yup that worked, thanks for the help QUOTE Btw, is there any way to permanently delete an item from my download list? Every time I delete the file, the next time I launch a batch of downloads, it reappears. I do not want the file. I have deleted it from my download list numerous times but it just keeps popping back up WTF. Same thing happens to me, the only way round it I found was let the file finish downloading and then delete it. Also is there anything else you need to do apart from installing OS 3.0 to active bluetooth for 2nd gen touch? (and aside from turning it on =P) Have been trying to connect my ipod with my mac and my phone but it can't be seen and it can't find any devices either. QUOTE if u were saying cannot force the apps to come out.. then what can we do??? Can lar, was just asking how to force quit applications in order to conserve memory in 3.0 cause the button combination changed (see previous posts) Bluetooth problem is I turn it on in the settings on the touch, but it can't find any of my other bluetooth devices, and the other devices can't see it either. Should I make a trip to the Apple store or is this a known, fixable issue?
