Yeah!! The price drop jz before pc fair ends!! Especially big and heavy product like casing!!! They even drop the price of keyboards and mouse!! Try to bargain nicely..

well for the usual offer is during the opening of pc fair for the first few customers and at the end of pc fair. usually laptop the price is fixed but gives free gifts. some lyn forumer bought it for very good deal during pc fair. as for hdd, the last time i went there to buy enclosure, they didnt give me the power cable (i went back to them and they say enclosure dont give power cable!) bloody wtf right? and they check another box only they replace for me. basically mouse and keyboards for razer the price is the same in lyp.

hopefully someone will sell something following price of pc fair in this forum. Cause I don't wanna go to pcfair due to h1n1. That day i went to lowyat on weekend already packed like mad. Especially the escalators. All the side booth are blocking the passage causing bottleneck.
Then already kena bad sorethroat and fever. Thank goodness, it's not h1n1. So lesson learned. You don't always get a second chance that easily. No more ignorant thinking "accident will not happen to me...only happen to others". This post has been edited by abubin: Jul 27 2009, 05:37 PM |

Ahhh... thanks for reminding me about the AH1N1, was really planning to go this weekend but now re-considering.
If I'm not going, this would be the first time I'm gonna miss PC fair for the first time since I started going to PC fair since....errr... 7 years ago.. i think.. yaya...I'm one of those that go there and look around (not at girls) and don't really buy stuff (except for outdated HWM magazines that cost RM2/book ) sorry guys for causing the jam.. |

Went to pc fair today, saw quite a number of people wearing mask. I'm not wearing =) I duno why ppl think less babe, somehow I saw more babe compare to previous one. Sony girl previously now become panasonic girl XD A lot photographing enthusiast bz taking photo for babe too~ Duno y, i feel nothing much fr this pc fair, maybe bcz i got nothing to buy lol.. Microsoft always say the arc mouse rm199 is promo price but actually lying, its the same with outside price. Infact I found a shop selling at rm178, =.=

Holy pc fair....just went to pc fair for the 1st day. It's working hour man...guess what~~~ drove to klcc by smart toll and caught jam right after exit the smart toll. Tht's ok. Once i'm abt in the parking entrance, got blocked.... Only season parking people only can enter... =.=! what next? I purposely drive to nearby petaling street (for parking) and walk to pasar seni lrt station to klcc. Lol..well, its very crowded~~~faint...
P/s: just read the pc fair guide book, mentioned any purchase rm300 can redeem free gift...anyone here redeem it? Curious what are the those gifts...pen? X_x |

Today went there.... get magazine, walk walk.. with stupid heavy speaker.. but happy... >.<
Considerable speaker, and act as my guitar speaker (after + poweramps), sounds nice too >.< But i don't like the wooder under the wooden box.. a lot Base missing XD, maybe it's for table use, not for you to put your leg >.< Bought CISS from Digital Imprint, as thier HP seems nicely build.. tomorrow will start building the cISS set >.< And.. samsung LCD's are quite harsh.. Pricing wize.. it just overkills Maybe last day gonna go there.. around 6pm and survey till 8pm and wait for "clear stocks" |

Hydraskins will be dsiplaying at booth 437, hall 4. We have a display wall outside the booth so you can see our artistic designs we have for our laptop/phone/iphone decals. Also we introducing a much affordable classic decal series for our laptop. Prices for our pc fair promotion as below RM25 for classic series RM45 for easy stick. Where i can find AVF Rapoo mouse. Nice looking but nvr test it b4. Saw it last week at pc shop at KLCC. Carbon fibre looks. Suitable for notebook, wireless with tiny receiver.

just back from PC fair, not much show girls around this time, most of the show girls can only be found at the first hall for online games there, other than that there aren't much show girls around the other hall.
and at least there are some speaker booth just before the exit, this time they make a small way to let us escape from those BB promoters, good job. but when i want to go back using LRT, the masjid jamek station has been closed down due to the protest, and i have to take monorail and change to LRT, just come back already take 2 hours i wonder is samsung laptop good, i've seen they keep promoting the battery life, can last up to 3 hours or 5 hours, and they are using LED backlight for the screen, just like the concept on their LCD TV. the design quite good, and the R470 model has the GeForce 107m IGP, at least can play 1080p movie smoothly i think. Most are already using LED backlight. Nothing to brag. I think the laptop which my sis bought is quite a deal. Compaq C35, same spec with Dell Inspiron 14, cheaper, and comes with 3yrs warranty. It comes with Home Premium thus eligle for Win7 upgrade. Not bad at all...

i think this time no special forum created for pc fair is because of the parts where all keep saying cuci mata and keep commenting about the booth babes etc... i think if we want the special forum back, better cut down those 2cent/3 cent/ 50 cent etc

yeah quite a few of them wore mask today... but i think it's useless, the virus travels thru the eyes also

Visit booth at Hall 2, booth 216, 217, Energizer, next to Samsung, it is on the side row, kinda interesting though, for those Energizer products for HP/Cam/lappies/PSP

yeah they have stock, can pay by cash or credit card... depending on the booth also, but then booths like dell sure can wan

This is the worst pc fair i went too.Nothing special,they say price drop but outside can find better price.maybe end of year more OK.even not much booth selling accessories and special product.just go through without stop and collect all the brochure to read at home..but stunned a while at Silverstone booth..

Garmin price has drop quite a lot... if I remembered correctly, 205W going for 699 (not sure map is included but you can rely on MFM). Even the 255W is 899 (or was it 999) nia. So definately price has come down. But the question remains... how often do you rely on it? Still feel the best is buy a phone with GPS and its basically the same thing. Im using my N78 GPS to venture into unknown road to overcome traffic jam and tolls but the destination is already somewhat known thus once you almost get there, you dont need the big display at all. Speaking of which, most HP has higher resolution that Garmin hence better picture.

hey guys... i went to PC Fair looking for Dell Inspiron 13 laptop... But didn't find any good deal also...
so i called dell and i got a MUCH BETTER deal from a sales rep. Very very nice and helpful guy. If you guys are looking for Dell, u can PM me, i can give u the sales rep EXT no. but i heard Dell take more than a week to deliver now.... up to 3 weeks !!! |
