what do people usually sell at PCFair?any interesting gadgets?

hopefully someone will sell something following price of pc fair in this forum. Cause I don't wanna go to pcfair due to h1n1. That day i went to lowyat on weekend already packed like mad. Especially the escalators. All the side booth are blocking the passage causing bottleneck.

Then already kena bad sorethroat and fever. Thank goodness, it's not h1n1. So lesson learned. You don't always get a second chance that easily. No more ignorant thinking "accident will not happen to me...only happen to others".

those computer part are more expensive during pc fair
but, if u looking for laptop then the deal is better, got many free gift and stuff compare to lowyat
camera alll the same..whether pc fair or not

Ahhh... thanks for reminding me about the AH1N1, was really planning to go this weekend but now re-considering.

If I'm not going, this would be the first time I'm gonna miss PC fair for the first time since I started going to PC fair since....errr... 7 years ago.. i think..

yaya...I'm one of those that go there and look around (not at girls) and don't really buy stuff (except for outdated HWM magazines that cost RM2/book ) sorry guys for causing the jam..

Previous one was a broadband fair. Although I got a laptop at the previous fair, the lappy offers aren't really anything spectacular comparing back to LYP.

ermm will there be dell booth? if i wanna get studio 15 can i get it customize from the booth or? coz i wanna have the cover change to those available at website (those new one vf picture)....

I doubt the claim of not accepting mastercard/visa debit card...most of the credit card processor machine can accpet both credit or debit card nowadays. they just work the same to the merchant.

but if say bank's atm card, which is going through MEPS network, that of course not easily availabe at pc fair booth.

but if a merchant can accept mastercard/visa credit card, it is very rare it can't accept mastercard/visa debit card. From merchant's point, debit card should be deemed as safer compared to credit card which carries higher fraud chances whereby malicious folk tend to buy expensive goods with fraud credit card. Debit card charge to the limit of existing money you own in the account only.

In fact the hot trend today turns on fire on debit card market among local bankers recently, seeing debit card usage going stronger in near future.

Usually, they let u customize the laptop at there but you cant get it on the spot, which make it same with online ordering. Those available at there, the specs is constant one, which means you cant change the parts (not sure for ram). Those are usually promotion price with certain specs.
