DJ Ivan plays for the Fluxed Magazine’s ‘Fluxtronic’ nights at the Boiler Room and cites Robbie Rivera, Deadmau5, Edson Pride, Daft Punk, Kaskade, Dinka, David Guetta, JC Mazter, Freemasons, John Dahlback, D.O.N.S, EDX, Bob Sinclar & Vandalism as some of his influences.

I thought I would have fun, but no.

This is just another ah beng club. I came with the worst disappointment I can ever had in my entire clubbing life. It’s totally opposite from what they promote. Strictly R&B? I don’t think so. Amateur DJ who can’t even mix properly with so many unnecessary pause during the dance. You’ll see many chicks dancing all the way and suddenly halt because the beat pauses out of sudden.

You’ll see guys more than girls, shuffling all the way and the worst, THE PODIUM IS FULL WITH TOPLESS GUY dancing under the rain. For a second I thought I entered a GAY club.

I notice the guest DJ as advertised here play only for less than 2 minutes. Then the MC ran up to him and swap to resident DJ. I am not sure what happen, but if I am that DJ, it’s such disrespect. Not even one full song! Then I heard it’s because those ah beng can’t appreciate other song. It’s fair if they think Ivan is not R&B, but even the resident DJ played NOT ALL R&B. And at least let DJ Ivan play a little longer. And if you knew from start DJ Ivan aint no R&B, why invite him? To make matters WORST, they even played CHINESE SONG.

Im not a big fan of DJ Ivan but I stand by Ivan that he deserved a little more respect. Thak god the club is not filled with seas of patrons, otherwise, I can imagine how shameful it is for Ivan to step down not even with one complete song.

I believe they can earn the heart of the ah bengs, but how long can it last? Would it be another MardiGras turmoil? From their website, excellent video presentation; on a first impression, I thought it’s a good club with professional in the management, but NO. Big disappointment for me. They are just another ah beng club. No wonder all their patrons stop patronising Mardigras.

RM15 is not much but it’s a waste of time to be there. I think the management is trying hard to keep a small group of ah beng’s instead of trying to attract real clubbers who can spend.

Guys, dont waste your time even to visit or re-visit them. it aint worth it, you'll end up with ah beng and instead of one utama, you'll end up in some jinjang clubs, the only difference is, they have a professional team in advertising and the location.

And I thought this club has already K.Oed.
To my suprise, it hasnt.

It doesn't seems like an Ah Beng club to me. Me and my sisters hang out there one. And one of my friends even won prizes last time.... on Friday.... Wahaha....

People there are so friendly.... So easy to meet new friends.

well just to say the way of clubbers and DJs thinking are different.. clubbers just want to party & have fun! of course u say fun!.... lol
