It appears some users are having wifi issues. Try a "Reset Network Settings" Also, this just enables custom MobileConfig files. To fully enable tethering, go here on your iPhone and download a MobileConfig file for your carrier. Watch out for carrier fees for tethering.

They are trying to increase security of the iPhone/iTouch while booting and when installing the OS. Also they talk about a partition encryption service, which means they want to prevent installation of custom firmwares.

This all sounds really bad, but the worst thing that they can do to us, is to delay all the future hacks. As long as trusted and devoted people like the iPhone DevTeam won’t join the dark side we are safe.

Yup.. no hackactivation on 3GS yet. but it is coming very soon.. dev-team is testing the tools that include hackactivation + unlock latest baseband iOS4. However, hackactivation + unlock for iOS4 for iphone3G is available in Redsnow BETA version for both Mac & Windows..

I own a unlock Singtel 3G...Will JB using Redsnow Beta version on IOS4.0.. kekeke

Another experience to share with your guys..
1.) I am owning Singtel UNLOCK set.. But, i claim for a one to one replacement last year due to screen faulty.. I found out that they replace a partnumber that Belong to USA iphone.. And, Singtel guy do the officla UNLOCK for me..

2.) Now i face a problem when DOING A RESTORE TO iOS 4.0. Upon finish restore to iOS 4.0 via Itunes.. I am not able to activate my phone, it said pls insert the lock SIM car to unlock it.. MEAN, my phone LOCK... Gone with my official UNLOCK !!!

3.) I had JB in iOS 4.0.. and no signal.. Perhaps, as they give me US iphone. Now, i have to use Ultrasnow to unlock it !!!... What the hell... I think i have to take back to Singtel to offical UNLOCK for me.. Now, my OFFICIAL UNLOCK 3G phone BECOME a LOCK phone..

How can they do that??

I don't mind they change a ULOCK BOARD for me... As, long as they register my iphone serial number to their server as an offical UNLOCK SET and i don't have any issue with NEW firmware update.. Then, it is ok for me.. If every new firmware update.. I need to bring to Singtel to UNLOCK it.. Then, i will WANT THEM to replace back a UNLOCK board for me..

Those who claim for warranty on Maxis/Digi set user, pls becaful and check your iphone partnumber to determine the origin of the iphone.. BEST to INSIST for LOCAL country set.. Else, u will have problem like me..
I am going to SHOOT Apple ^ Singtel kao kao.. Wait for my update !!

Bro.. u have to understand. We are at the "dark side".. How can u said u want a official unlock.. YES, they is a way. BUY la.. OFFICIAL UNLOCK iphone..
