topman has dress pants size 28, but quite limited..

Added on June 16, 2009, 9:46 pmoh, go for flat front btw.. dont choose pleated pants as they are not recommended for thin guys..

That's not very good unless you are going for baggy style...pants one or two size larger are gonna look slightly ill-fitted especially at the hips and thighs.

true but not so true, still need to take your proportions into considerations. you wouldn't want to look like a baloon head do you? smile.gif
and fatter people should stay out from skinny cut, you would look like a TF2 heavy

what you talking about? what has balloon head to do with anything? you're saying shorter guys have bigger heads?

Added on June 30, 2009, 10:52 pmas a matter of fact, if one is really tall, he might want to stay away from skinny cut.. because he's already tall, he should opt for something which doesn't elongate him further and look like a stick..

I think you can try visiting Robinsons in The Gardens.

Their men's department has this section with lots of pants (near the cashier counter in the center part, you won't miss it) I just went there yesterday and got myself a pair of really nice slim cutting pants.
The brand is John Harold London, I personally have not heard/seen this brand before; apparently it's in Robinsons only. The brand is not even Google'able laugh.gif

The one I got was really nice and it cost about RM150+ after discount. Since it's a contemporary slim cutting, I had to size up a size; and the cutting and fit is really nice!! The material is superfine teteron rayon, I have no idea what it is or if it's any good but it does feel good laugh.gif
I don't know if the price is a rip-off, but I have been hunting nice slim formal pants for my internship and this is the first time ever I have tried on such a nice pair of pants!! rclxms.gif

All the best in your hunt thumbup.gif

Hi everyone,

Just a question for all you fashion savants and knowledgable folk out there...

I am 6 ft (185cm), and 64kg in weight only. So that's a very thin body frame. Besides going to tailor, are there any clothing brands out there that you know of with cutting for thin body? Shirts, pants, jeans etc.

A check on Topman's site confirms that the smallest size for trousers starts from size 26.

For some reasons some guys just really into skinny jeans. I do not know why either and many those i personally know happen to be the tall category of guys (over 180cm). Eamon Sullivan, the Olympic swimmer from Australia who is standing at 189cm also wears skinny jeans a lot and he looks fine with it.

A picture or two of the said look, please? I suspect he could be wearing slim jeans instead of skinny jeans as both are of different fit. A google on Eamon Sullivan only gave me pictures of him in wet swimming trunks.

Hmm. Skinny jeans.

I've heard somewhere, "don't get skinnies unless you're metro, a band member, or have bad taste". Lol.

I agreed and disagreed. Disagreed about the last point, durrrrrrrrr

--

And btw, never get anything from Levis other than their 501s pls.

Their 501s are the sht. The rest are the hyped-up crap.

Yeah.

Try Aprils, Wranglers, Nudies, Ksubis for more kick.

Hi all,i'm new to this forum.

Ok,let's straight to the point.I am a thin guy, really thin...Can you imagine a 175cm tall guy with a weight of only 48kg?my waist measurement is 27/28 i think. From my chest till my toes, all you can see from about 5-6m away is just a straight-tall guy who merely has meats beneath his skin...(OMG!!) Legs, look like girls' legs...the only difference is I have leg hairs...Even i wear 27/28 jeans(straight cut),the diameter of the jeans is much bigger than my legs. Some suggested me to wear skinny/slim fit jeans ,but i don't think i should cause that will show the actual size of the legs...T-shirts are better,i wear M size of Malaysian cutting, but still doesn't look fit.

Any of you have any suggestion?

Eat moar, shit less ;D

Go on a proper diet, work out, and get your weight up to 55-60kg at least. Else its very hard to get anything to fit your body nicely.

And avoid baggy clothing because ... because.

try kitschen boutiques. they have clothes with thin people's cutting. but not all of their boutiques sell mens clothes. try going to the curves kitschen.

I think tailor made clothes are the best of thin people like us.
Brands like zara and topman caters for thin people like us.
cutting wise i think we should go for slim fit and not skinnies.

dude i have this issue before. urmm you shudnt wear M actually. cos you will look like you are drowning in your tshirts and make you look even thinner. try wear fitting clothes, but not too fitting of cos, like for me, i use to get XS or S from topman. with revealing the right amount of skin, you will give the impression that you are bigger than you actually am.

as for jeans, just go for slim from topman. well thats my suggestions anyways. different ppl got different taste - individuality. notworthy.gif

Wearing em loose will make yourself look even smaller.
Buy fitting clothes. That's all I gotta say.
Not too tight, just nice.

I'm very skinny guy with only 42kg & 168cm in height. Its real hard to find a jean. My waist is only 26-27 inch. I can pretty sure there's no 27 size of Calvin Klien, Topman Levi, etc...!! If it does have, it really can't fit maybe their size 27 is not that small. Only way is to buy online from American Eagle. If you guys really know where can find 27 jean, please do tell me....!!Thanks.

Dammit!!! 42kg. That's strawweight bro. I gues XS tee is still loose on you.
Anyway, I was at levi's a few days ago.. saw lots of 28 sized jeans. And i think there's a year end sale now. Smaller size are widely available although not all cuts are on sale.
You can try topman size 28 as well. If thet're still loose. Might as well buy their bigger size skinny jeans. Would not be that tight. smile.gif

You're not limited to men's range when it comes to jeans, a guy could easily get away wearing women's jeans if the cut is right. Just ask Jet (the band).

You can actually choose the size of 26-29. Wear a belt if you feel loose. I'm almost the same case like you, but slightly heavier and taller than you. My waist size is 28. I have couple of trousers and jeans and most of their size are 29 or 30. Just wear a belt and tuck in your shirt will do! Look smarter smile.gif
