QUOTE(gogo2 @ Nov 18 2009, 01:58 PM) photo shop lor..haha... normally need to book from them one.. no ready stock,... Nope not really ... I search a lot of shops can say almost dominated by Canon and Nikon stuff (no offense haha), just so little for Panasonic. or u can search in the LYN garage sale.. Even if they got Panasonic stuff, it's quite expensive. So far I found on Shashinki and some of the guys at the LYN garage sale. Actually wait for this guy iamsobloodysick's reply, the Panasonic seller in LYN garage, hope he bring me good news This post has been edited by Wuahaha: Nov 18 2009, 02:13 PM |

QUOTE(gogo2 @ Dec 16 2009, 10:52 AM) Nice bro ... how much did you get for the lens and adapter together, where you get the adapter ah? Using the adapter no auto focus already right? Can please share your review on using the adapter thanks. Just want to know if using other brand lens with adapter is more cost effective than using m43 or 43 lenses. QUOTE(gogo2 @ Dec 16 2009, 11:56 AM) Adapter I bought from http://cgi.ebay.com/Canon-FD-adapter-Olymp...=item25557ed6f0 Huh? Canon 50mm F1.4 just Rm250? So cheap meh? But I bought the single one from him. You check his other sales. He said made from brass instead of alu. My review is that its great. I can change the aperture no problem from f/1.4 to max. great built. No issue. The lens is RM250 only.... Total cost: RM550. No AF of course. Its cost effective if you can get lens at cheap price with such a big aperture. |

QUOTE(Hico @ Dec 16 2009, 05:56 PM) the link u paste got problem le..cannot find that page.. I think wat modben want show is this, GF1 might not look as bright/colorful like EP1 but if know how to adjust the WB then can get a nice color, just my 2 cents:i noticed that blue colour and yellow colour look nicer in olympus ..but red colour look nicer in panasonic.. just panasonic produce the pic look a bit dark in overall eventhough after u pp it...the olympus will give much more the exciting overall colour tone also.... http://www.imaging-resource.com/PRODS/DMCGF1/DMCGF1A.HTM |

QUOTE(Hico @ Dec 19 2009, 10:14 PM) wow...FL36R FYI, the 14-45mm zoom kit lens blocks the flash light when taking close range. Have shadow in picture if lens is long and taking really close picture. IMHO, in future should invest on an external adjustable flash (and with a diffuser). This post has been edited by Wuahaha: Dec 19 2009, 10:43 PM |

QUOTE(Hico @ Dec 19 2009, 11:34 PM) hehe.. external flash is another good add on.. but getting extra lens like 20mm is my priority.. zuiko 9-18mm lens is another lens i am interested too.. I'm saving money to get either the 20mm pancake or 45-200m zoom lens anymore nice photos from your GF1 to poison other?? Dunno which one I shall get first ... both cost the same, but the usage is so different. |

Can also refer to this, compatibilities of DMC-GF1, DMC-GH1 and DMC-G1, including all micro four thirds lens and four thirds lens, adapters and ext flash, etc.
http://panasonic.jp/support/global/cs/dsc/connect/g1.html Added on December 20, 2009, 10:22 am QUOTE(Hico @ Dec 20 2009, 07:41 AM) 7-14 is very expensive..cost almost rm3k.. That is Oly Zuiko 70-300mm lens right? It's a standard four thirds lens wor ... so need to buy a four thirds mount adapter (Rm5xx). Added on December 20, 2009, 7:43 am true..actually both got their usage..one for night shooting..one of landscape shooting.. but i will choose 70-300mm..although size might be a bit bigger compare to it, but the price is a bit cheaper and can zoom till 300mm.. QUOTE(Hico @ Dec 20 2009, 03:25 PM) yeah..and the price for the lens is about rm1400+.. the adapter cost about rm480 the cheapest i heard and can be used with other four thirds lens also wor.. i am interest with 9-18mm lens too.. kinda useful for landscape and street photo.. True if you get the adapter you'll have more lens available to choose from but not all will support AF. BTW, what camera u using? EP-1/2 or GF1? Oly's 43 adapter is cheaper than Panny's. I wonder are they (Oly's and Panny's) compatible to each other? |

QUOTE(free_enuf @ Dec 20 2009, 10:58 PM) Got myself this for my E-P1, worth every penny I would say! How much you bought it and where? ![]() I am so ready to sell my Pancake 17mm F2.8 + OVF, PM me! QUOTE(samurai1337 @ Dec 20 2009, 11:56 PM) Gosh...is it really that bad? Seriously I think one extra battery is not enough coz of the LCD live view. I managed to get around 300++ shots, with occasionally flash shots, not sure is it as good as advertised? How many shots u manage to take before draining it? If GF-1 battery is not as good as advertised, then it's really something that blocks me from buying it |

QUOTE(modben @ Dec 21 2009, 12:22 AM) bro wuahaha, 300+ shots from full till empty? just wan to know you set your lcd sleep how long and do you keep turning it on and off? I do set the LCD to off when idle ... and sometimes when I don't shoot pictures I'm playing around the settings and review also. Actually 300++ just my rough estimate as I've not use from full till empty in one day. i think mine might be slightly better then yours but i never shot so much. 1 shoot 5 vids totaling to 20+ mins and around 120 shots in raw with some flashes here and there still full. |
