Isn't postage service has a separate counter in every post office? To do postage service doesn't need to press for queue no. Only for other matters we have to slowly sit and wait for our turn.

However, mini post office like in my university that has only two counters but usually only one of them is opened, so everyone needs to queue up regardless for any matter.

I believe all major post offices do have separate counters for postage to ensure the smoothness of their modus operandi.

my uni oso got 2counter but only 1 is open at a time...yet the queue is still acceptable compared to the post office outside...
not evry post office has separate counter for postage stuff...usually AIO...semua boleh...if u dun take number,they won't layan u..
if not AIO,then some counter will have long queue and some counter will hv less crowd,then the public will complain again...haha...saying POS M'sia wasting resources...
so i suppose there isn't a "win win" solution for that...
To make things easier,they can use machine to do the bill payment thing,24 hours..i suppose that will smoothen things out...

actually bills can pay on9 wad.. if they had to set up a machine just for bills, they nid to hire a guy to maintain also.. like maybank, the atm + CDM is always down *sigh*

yes! i agree! sometimes ar. posting stuff counters all closed man! have to wait for norm counter. so lazy la. and so many people wanna post stuff also. then make all the bill counters longer. cheh. at least have one fella doing the posting counter la. difficult meh putting stuff on the scale and giving stamps and bags.

machines r easier than online leh...at least u dun hv to memorise ur password...n to them it felt more solid n save..
kinda difficult for older folks to rmb a username+password...
thats y many uncle auntie know how to use atm n cdm,but not to use online banking..

That's why I love Sg Petani pos office, they categories the counter.
So ppl who wanted to post parcel or buy stamp don't have to queue so long with ppl paying their bills or taking rebate.
They open at least 2 counter just for ppl posting packages, so you practically go in and drop out without even have to queue

hey i wanna ask ..if i wanna poslaju a laptop in a box, do i need to seal it up with brown paper so they can't see what is inside so they wont charge me extra, or is ok to just tell them its a laptop?

dont tell them it's a lap top! >.< yes, u nid to seal it up with brown paper.. maybe 2 layers to double protect.. they will charge u the same, no matter what the contents are.. but telling them it's a lap top is dangerous.. the postmen might steal it

yup...wrap kao kao....i usually tape the joints...so that if they want to peek in..they will have to tear the whole package..
wrap a few layers of newspaper inside 1st for better security...and never ever let them know it's a laptop inside..or else...bad thgs might happen o...
