I've managed to get the Wifi to work....for browsing, emailing (exchange)....since I did not subscribe to unlimited 3G so...I only use internet via Wifi....

Here how you do...

Go Menu>Ctr Panel>Settings>Connection>Destinations>Internet...

There you can see whole list of Access Point (wifi, 3G, etc.) with priorities...so you can set the priorities by going Options>organize...

So your E72 will always try the 1st priority first for internet or email synch....if not available...then go to 2nd...3rd...4th....

I've set my wifi as 1st, and 3G as 2nd....but to avoid it automatic change to 3G when my wifi is not available....

I've set my 3G at options (follow instruction earlier): Use Access Point: After Confirmation & I've set Prompt Password: Yes...

So at least every time before it tries to access 3G...I will need to put the password first...then I would be surprised by my Celcom bill for no reason...
p/s: I believe the 3G symbol that is on the topleft of the phone is indicating its signal availability....if you are using it, it will show the "transfer ARROW"..meaning data is being transfered via 3G....

It's one of your programs or settings. Find it or reset the phone.

i my e72 is 2weeks old..so far i dont see any major probs..
but there are two issues i want to highlight:

1) Sometimes when i try save pic from mms,the pic didnt turn out in gallery.Need to restart my phone then only the image will appear.
2) When i open the 'tutorial'..i can only see the image but there is no sound and text..

is anyone having the same issue?

Bro, did you use the email program? if you setup the email then it will automatically pop up to request to connect online for sync your email.

it doesn't matter what your connection priorty is, you can set it in your email setting under the 'account setting' -> acount information -> 'access point '
OR if you can turn off the sync under the  "When To Synchronise"
OR you can specify what time and day to sync under the "Timed Synchronise".

if i'm not wrong, once you set "Synchronise email" to 'OFF' it won't pop up again... i think lah... (but then what's the point you setup the mail if you don't let it sync??)

note: if you have more than 1 mail account, then you must set every account...

just check with all the E72 here, how long the batt can last after the full charge? mine can only last for 1 day. i normally use for text (50+-), phone call (1 hour+-), then wifi (10 minutes), take photo (5+-), can only last me 1 day...hmp...like not very good ler...anyone can post here about your average usage and how long batt last?
