QUOTE(teelim @ Jan 22 2010, 05:00 PM) integrated gps is the gps receiver built into the phone. a-gps is whereby the phone uses the network transmission tower (this uses data connection apparently) to assist in determining your location, by triangulation or something like that. For example, Garmin on e72 need a-gps or integrated-gps in order to get signal and function well? what if turn off a-gps or integrated-gps?with a-gps turned on, the E72 can get a gps lock as quick as 20-30sec. without it, 2-5mins maybe. |

when we hard reset e72, it will reformat the whole phone and restore to default factory setting. my question is what will happen to memory card when we hard reset? is the memory card will be formatted as well?

QUOTE(User61 @ Jan 25 2010, 08:31 PM) If the memory card not format during hard reset E72, the memory card still contain the system file for those application installed earlier on. As we mentioned hard reset (format E72), we want the E72 come online with fresh factory restore, how do we format the memory card? As I understand that, from the first time i turn on the E72, there are some system already exist in memory card, if we format the memory card ourselves, it will make the E72 running? Or we need to remain some system required file for E72 during delete or format memory card? |

QUOTE(User61 @ Jan 25 2010, 09:39 PM) Let say the memory card formatted and when slot back to the E72, is the E72 will recreate the default folder/system file/ and etc for it? if not mistaken, everytime install new application/software, it will create some system required file and store in memory card, what if we just format the memory card and without format/hard reset the phone? will the application/software unable to run after that? |

QUOTE(spawnster83 @ Feb 11 2010, 02:55 PM) bro, urs is Ori set or AP set? If AP you wont have Chinese display/input depends on your E72 origin. At my knowledge for the moment only Malaysia and Hong Kong Unit support Chinese Display/Input. hey bro, mine 1 is AP. But I sent to Nokia service center and flush the firmware to Malaysia version (charge me RM50). My current E72 able to display and write chinese after flushed to Malaysia firmware. |
