Greetings all LYN members,including to the "otai-otai" in case modding .The title says it all..just finished my modding today.

The case i use is COOLER MASTER CENTURION 5.

I've been thinking to mod this case because want to give my new & shiny mobo a new house...

right now i'm using ACER ASPIRE M1110 <-tak ingat model...it's amd...athlon X2 4000+ damn cannot overclock it...buy a new mobo,giv it a new & bigger house,do some port & polishing (????!!!) ...walaaa

So enjoy the pics below & let me know what do u guys think about it

BTW,my dad buy this case for his pentium 3 pc since he buy a new pc,not using it...

Tool i've used :
-Hammer (use to remove the rivet with nails kes tak sabar2 mau modding)
-Screw driver
-jigsaw (company punya,also potong the "see through" window kat sana)

To make this blinged & shiny case i've use:
-Anchor #30 black spray
-Anchor **55 orange fluorescent spray
-Anchor #1 clear spray
-sand paper (3 type i used,the "kasar" one i forget,then grade 1000,finishing grade 2000 to smooth it

whut technic do u use to make its mirror shine? can share?

hmm....just spray layer after layer,then apply the clear...or maybe i sprayed the clear a little closer,or in bm sembur dekat2..but must be extra careful not to spray too much...hmmm...maybe i can polish this new baby to make it super-duper mirror shine...maybe in 3-4 days lagi...

5 cans hell yeah..barang baik mestilah menghasilkan hasil yang berkualiti ...just spray until u satisfy enough...and yeah i do some sanding..

dude,my tempat kerja like heaven to modders...got all thing..acrylic?sticker?spray booth?srcew driver?tell me ...hahaha...even if i want to make "stiker haram" can also...got that graphtec plotter...

waa... can combo with a razer krait mouse.. sama tema(black & orange!).. alang alang bisa siutt!!!!

I think getting the "mirror finish" is the effect of the clear coat that is making it glossy. But to get really flat 2K mirror finish, a lot of patience n hardwork, you need to sand btw layers, n finish it off with a lot of rubbing n polishing.

bro.. may how did you spray ur internal part?? just spray directly or got do some sanding 1st or got spray a layer of primer???

here my comments :
do sanding be4 spray.
then apply few layer spary,wait after really dry d only apply another layer. each layer should be thin,dun apply too much.

apply primer or not,is ok.

no need primer huh?? cos i saw those oversea moders all apply primer 1st, then pray. but i went to few shops, they all sold out or not selling.. haiz..

btw,its just hole only,many hole...no kerawang2 one or any ganas2 one...


i dont do any sanding or primer on the internal part...just spray directly...i clean it before that...my friend told me,to make more mengancam,spray white primer first for any fluorescent colour

I'd suggest to go mirror shine it and sleeve the remaning cable with black sleeve to complete the looks loh

you should also cut some custom acylic letters or fan grill with the access of those nice machine and tools.

Wow, nice paint job there!! Can't wait to see your latest mod! So basically how many layers of spray did you applied? How long you took to spray completely? 2-3 days? I'm planning to spray too, but the sanding part made me gave up, don't really like sanding

lu mau spray complete?

1.Sanding (dari kasar ke yang paling halus...1st page dah tunjuk kan? )
2.Undercoat a.k.a primer (depend on what type colour u want to use,if u choose metallic,use u/c silver)
3.spray undercoat 1,2,3 layer @ sampai puas hati
4.cari tempat yang tertutup mase nak spray(untuk elak habuk)
5.utk bhgn luar tu spray la dalam 3-4 layer ke,4-5 layer ke...
6.spray clear..

kos spray projek aku ni:

orange fluorescent 2 tin = rm20(1tin rm10 mahal sebab cat special)
black #30 2 tin = 10(1 tin rm5)
clear free sebab aku jumpa dalam rumah aku
nak dpt hasil lebih kurang mirror effect,spray dekat2...jangan ikut mcm kt tin tu,30 cm dr objek...15cm dr objek pon ok(clear ye!!!1st-2nd layer tu jauh2 pon takpe)
just be extra careful

Warna-warni LED fan? Yea, I saw it before but can't really recall got what colour. If not mistaken about 70% is green colour then got campur like red or yellow. Then got words when the fan is spinning, lupa what word, I saw it in SriComputer

i saw it too...the warna warni not means one fan with lots of colour...what i mean is campur-campur,kipas led biru ada,kipas led merah ada,oren ada,hijau ada...blablabla

dun put so many color led la, pick 1 or 2. if many color later look like kuil wakakaka

damn my acrylic panel cracks when i try to drill it...damn..tapi takpe,curik kat opis lagi...hahahaha...anyone expert in drilling acrylic @ have experience,give me some tips...sikit2 tu tau la,tapi kalau siapa ada lagi ilmu2,kongsi2 la

gunakan 'G-clamp' untuk kunci arcrylic supaya tak gerak...
