QUOTE(Revamperz @ Jun 14 2009, 01:24 PM) so which one really u want? stable or comfort.. i want stable, and comfort...i dont want when the car across a little bump keep bounce.a stable ride meaning low profile tyre n bigger rims for good grip with lowering suspension for stable conering. Its gonna be a bumpy yet stable ride a comfort ride mean thicker rubber with softwall tyres, make ur ride kinda floaty a bit but of course, comfy Added on June 14, 2009, 4:10 pm QUOTE(ah liew @ Jun 14 2009, 02:00 PM) 4 years already, everything still very good, i just dont like the car bounce...Added on June 14, 2009, 4:11 pmany one can tell me how to solve the problem ? how much for solve all this problem ? QUOTE(the_catacombs @ Jun 14 2009, 04:26 PM) call to enquire... uncle richard can guide u and custom make the shocks to ur preference... jz tell him what ride comfort/performance u looking into... QUOTE(loong2020 @ Jun 14 2009, 04:28 PM) u can change to gas type/adjustable type (but it maybe too stiff for u), change wider tires maybe 195/55 or 195/50 or (205/55 if can fit) with maybe 16inch rims if u want to where original for avanza is 185/65/r15...where the 65 series is more to comfort, so when u drive at highspeed it tend to float abit/bounce..... and try to add UR strurt bars on the front,back....sure ur ride become more stable and can corner with much confidence compare to stock avanza...but of course cant be compare with sedan cars..la how much for that ? total all.some said change bigger rims more stable, some said if change bigger rims more bounce. blur |

QUOTE(omnimech @ Jun 15 2009, 11:13 AM) If you want to corner stability and comfort. is my dad's car.....not mine.....sure I wont choose this car.Why in the first place did u buy the avanza ~_~ If the car is at full load, it shouldnt be that bouncy. But since you say that its bouncy, means you drive alone most of the time or with very few passengers. so once again.. i ask. what possessed you to buy that car in the first place ~_~ |

QUOTE(kllonely1 @ Jun 15 2009, 10:19 PM) Adding this and that, make minor improvements. so when is the perodua mpv coming to market ? how much ? but for the perodua mpv only 1.5 right, underpower ? smaller than avanza ?Avanza is NOT Grand Livina - it does not drives like a sedan, Do NOT expect to change that with modding. I drives a 1.3 Avanza and I have friends that makes changes like those and honestly only minor improvement. If your Avanza only carries 2 people including you, expect it to bounce "like a rabbit" on the highway. Avanza is not 100% built like a MPV, it does have the characteristic but its suspension is that of a van/lorry. It was the cheapest 7 seater MPV around at that time, very soon to be challenge by Perodua MPV. Ask you father/parent to trade it in for the Perodua MPV. |

QUOTE(kllonely1 @ Jun 18 2009, 09:17 AM) The Perodua MPV is expected in Nov 2009 but there are some that said Sep 2009. The price is below S70000, some put it at $66000. yes i know, my parents also waiting for the perodua mpv, but i prefer toyota vios. From the pictures I had seen, it is a stiff challange to Exora. It is smaller than Exora, some said Avanza size with a 1.5cc engine. Search the web for the pictures and you would like it. Do mot spend your money on changing Avanza parts, same it for Perodua MPV. When we buy a car, it should be what we expect and not trying changing it to something else. You know what I mean if you see those people who tried to change the Wira into Evo. |
