i dont think you can compare riccy with terry. terry grew with Chelsea, riccy did not. besides, riccy has already expressed his disatisfaction and wants to leave last season. good thing everything's going right now. im sure riccy/alex/ivanovic will get fair chances to play.

yes and he nearly go out but final decision and market price had prevented him from going out. i remember during JM's era where he bring along many players from porto and i am really impressed by the way he played. he adapt to english quite fast and he's way more better than mr gallas.

Riccy seems quite happy now that he is fit and playing. sounded pretty pleasant from the interview. even held captaincy for the last game in the States.

i like his style. always go upfront during corner kicks and managed to scored from that busy area more than 10th times i guess. btw kaka is overshadowed by lol presence. i don't see him happy with his new team. he should consider moving to chelase instead of real

If I was carletto, i have no idea where i would fit kaka in, lamps is irreplaceable in the Chelsea squad. For now I think that our squad is a complete squad, no injuries and at full strength smile.gif

Lest we forget, the game against Reading has a subplot. It's a reunion with our ex-reserve manager, Mr. Brendan Rodgers whom we also met early this year when he was managing Watford.

Still need a creative playmaker IMO, sorely missing that last season, no one to turn the game in a second. Deco was supposed to do that, but couldn't live with the EPL pace, hopefully he'll come good this time.

Today is a mourning day for the football world. First we are jolted by the news of the passing away of the great Sir Bobby Robson and now our ex-chairman of the 70s, Brian Mears has passed away today as well. If you all can remember, Mr. Brian Mears' granduncle, Gus Mears was the founder of Chelsea Football Club in 1905. We at LYN Chelsea FC thread would like to convey our deepest condolences to both Sir Bobby Robson and Mr. Brian Mears.

It's not a rumour. It's true. In fact the official website has released an official statement which says it welcomes the decision by Court of Arbitration for Sports to dismiss the appeal of Adrian Mutu for a leniency. Mutu is gonna be trouble now. 14.5 million pounds is a lot of money!
