Just got Xtreamer from hdwarexpert, manage to set it up n do a little bit of testing, but i cant get the internet radio to work, I randomly picked around 10 stations to try, but none success. After waited 20 to 30 seconds of "Connecting Server", the Xtreamer just restart itself. Is there anything i should know or i did anything wrong here ? sad.gif

Edit : Already found out, it is due to crappy wireless connection ... sweat.gif

Can Xtreamer, not Pro version support xtreamer live n the upcoming firmware v2.4 ?

Also would like to know, Xtreamer (not pro) using SATA 2.5" HDD ? N what is the maximum capacity it can support ? I read somewhere in this thread, u guys recommend the Samsung HDD to be use with Xtreamer ?

Bro stormaker,

Any model of Xtreamer media player supports 'Xtreamer Live' from Firmware 2.2 onwards...

MY version 1 Xtreamer is enjoying this function few months ago.... damn lots of nice thing hidden inside.

You can't find this in any kind of media player in market now. you name any brand, you cannot get this feature.....TVIX, ACRYAN, MEdie8er, Asus, Seagate, WDTV Live, Modeo, AVF, Egear, Egreat, Dune, HDX, PAtriot, Hornettek, and the rest......

Thanks for the info. Will install the internal hdd to my xtreamer soon to make full use of it ... smile.gif

I dumped in my old 2.5" sata disk... think is seagate... for my dad's Sidewinder. It works fine. Heard from seller, 7XXGB max.

Thanks for the reply, but i think im not going to push my luck, so i'll go for WD Scorpio Blue 500GB (WD5000BEVT).

My Xtreamer's remote control interfere with my wired remote control for Edifier S530D speaker. The wired remote control for the speaker have its own IR receiver, so everytime I press any button on Xtreamer's remote control, my speaker's wired remote control pick up the signal n changed any settings on it.

I already tried to separate them as far as i could. Is there anyway to avoid this ? It's very annoying. cry.gif

Since you are using wired remote to your Edifier, you can add black tape to the IR lens on the receiver.

hmm.gif ... Very good suggestion. It's really a good n simple idea that i never thought of, but i think i will DIY something to cover the whole wired remote control when its not needed, so that it can be remove/put on easily, sometimes i still need to use wireless remote control bcos it's connected to other things as well like PS3.

The 2nd TV is about 20 meter away in another room and my splitter comes with IR receiver/transmitter

U might want to consider getting universal remote control like Logitech Harmony.
