Hi guys. Sorry, but this question seems lame... I have trouble connecting my Xtreamer Pro to my network. After checking around, I changed my router to channel 1, I cannot adjust the Mhz part as I will explain shortly. And, I've changed the config to all that was recommended.

Product:
Xtreamer Pro with Xtreamer N11 300Mbps WiFi Antenna

Router:
Apple Airport Extreme Base Station 802.11n (that's why cannot change Mhz...no option to change)

Security :
WPA/WPA2 Personal (20 characters)

Computers:
MacBook Pro with Mac OS X 10.6.7 (Snow Leopard)
Old desktop PC with 1.8Ghz Intel C2D

Problem, can detect, asks for WPA, then enter Auto (first time) and wait...after a while, it jumps back to settings screen and no IP address on screen.

Second attempt, detect, enter WPA, Static IP (Manual), enter all the details and copy the same IP for DNS as for Gateway. Since the youtube video asked me to do that. Still no IP allocation.

So, after 100 attempts, I'm still stuck. Any suggestions please ? I'm stumped!

Thanks for the information. I didn't know how to change the channel in Xtreamer, but I just kept trying the same things over and over again...

1. Wireless Setup -> Infrastructure (AP) -> Select network -> Enter WPA Pass -> Auto (DHCP) -> Pray!

2. Wireless Setup -> Infrastructure (AP) -> Select network -> Enter WPA Pass -> Static IP (Manual) ->
Enter Details -> Pray!

After about 3 more hours of rotating those two methods...I think Xtreamer got sick of kicking me in the head and finally gave in! I got an IP address! and Internet Access WORKS! WooT!

So...now is my next task...how to get my Mac AND PC to both be able to see and modify the 4Tb I have in Xtreamer Pro. I tried a few things so far, but still unsuccessful. Gonna keep trying til something works. Maybe it's my destiny to fail at all things technological. I love computers, but the computers don't love me.
