I have try to play my DVD ISO using xtreamer and it can play the DVD nav menu.  For BD, it is different?  Not even with 2.4 firmware upgrade?
*
Using Realtek chip no way can play full menus for BD-ISO/BDMV.

You want Full Menus must get Sigma players like Dune 3/BD1/PCH C200. But then you must also be willinng to pay for higher price smile.gif

BD.iso is more 'canggih'!!

There is a TVIX media player that use realtek chips which can play the NAV menu. In this case, no point for me to have an ISO files.  So sad. :-(

Added on July 27, 2010, 10:38 am

Other than Dune, which other player is able to play the bluray NAV menu?
*
That Realtek TVIX is not the Full BD Nav Menus smile.gif. That is a BD-lite menu that is created by TVIX themselves smile.gif.

Xtreamer Pro should also have some form of BD-Lite menus right ?

My Units is around 2 weeks old. Comes with the USB WiFi antenna.  Prefer to sell together with the samsung 2 terabyte HD with plenty of goodies.

Other than dune, which other media player than can play the BD menu?
*
I already answered you in post No. 1192.

i think HDX, Dvico and Dune but if i were u i go for Dune Prime !
*
No need Dune Prime. Dune Base without BD Drive same functions as Prime, but price below RM1K at KLAV show smile.gif

Btw, I don't think DVICO got player with BD Nav Menus (maybe I am wrong). Currently only Sigma 864X chip found in Dune 3, HDX BD1 and Popcorn Hour C200 can.

On 7th floor one seller was selling Dune Prime for RM1,400/- with free Toaster Dock. Competition was really intense.

Anyway that RM1,499/- price was already available by E-Life (one of the Distributors) since 3 mths ago. Can refer to his sales thread.

Oops this is Xtreamer thread, sorry blush.gif

How about Dvico 6600N? The seller told me that this model can play BD menu.
*
Ideatools mentioned few posts above the 6600N only support Java 1.0 NAV menus. If Java 2.0 than you won't get the NAV Menus, only BD-Lite menus provided by Dvico themselves.

So you have to figure out how many Titles using Java 1.0

So does it mean that java 1.0 can only support BD lite while you need java 2.0 to support full menu?

What is the different between BD lite menu and full menu?  Very confusing.
*
BD Lite is just Simple Menus created by your Media Player developers. It is not the real Menus found in the Blu-ray titles.

I don't think it require Java support to have these BD-Lite Menus.

Even AC Ryan POHD has simple Menus for BD.ISO and BDMV. But it is nothing fancy, just some pop up menus in text form, no pictures whatsoever. Other brands will have their own way of displaying these Menus.

On topic of Real Full BD Menus, Java 1.0 can display Full BD Menus only on titles which uses that version of Java (Probably outdated now). Media Players that support up to Java 2 will be able to display Full Menus for both Java 1 and Java 2 titles.

Don't take my word for it as I am not very well versed on BD Java and BD Menus. I am only using the humble POHD, not elite class yet. So do your own reading and research if you can smile.gif

Thanks Bro.  Greatly appreciated.

Added on July 28, 2010, 12:07 pmJust wondering, xtreamer pro comes with a set of E-Sata interface input port.  How do I install this port into my PC?  Just plug it into the sata port in my motherboard?
*
You will have to check with a Xtreamer user. Try asking Soulquarianz.

I am guessing you will need to connect an eSata bracket at the back of your PC with the attached cable connected to the MB Sata connector (check if your Xtreamer Pro comes bundles with this bracket). After that connect an eSata cable between the Xtreamer and the Bracket.

You should ask Soulquarianz. He is former AC Ryan POHD user , now abandon ship to Xtreamer Pro. He was quite active in Lowyat.net AC Ryan forum before.

Xtreamer can install 2 Internal HDD thumbup.gif

If you really want to jump to Sigma, don't forget it can't play RMVB (if you need it i.e)

win7 ultimate 32bit.

The HDD still working fine. How to do recovery? Really noob on this.
*
I still using the ancient Win XP biggrin.gif . But the problem is the more you use your computer, the less chance of recovery because the missing files space might be overwritten by newer files.

You accidently deleted the profile or was it due to some corruption?

You need to find a recovery software to see if your files are still there. Get one of those free trial software, just to see if the files are still visible (trial version will only list the deleted files for you to see, but won't allow you to recover) . Then later you can decide whether to get a full version or not.

But right now try not to use the computer if you can.

What format are your picture files. If jpg , then have you tried do search for all the .jpg , could be they are still not deleted, just hidden somewhere.
