Cool, welcome to da Xtreamer clan, Adzlim. hdwarexpert must be having got promo.

Wow... Updated the script Live #9 and quite a number of channels there. My dad testing them now.... Some cannot work and it says "Cannot Play This Media" under Live TV > Movie Channel > MGM...

Anyone know about this? Another thing also... we tested on the 384kbps line @ hometown now, result not that good... tongue.gif

i slot mine with 2TB x 2 Samsung F2 5400 RPM HDD and hear no sound. amazingly its very silent. the fan is set to High aswell. What HDD are u using? the only problem i face with Xtreamer Pro is

1) the unit become hot after several hours playing (tested 12 hours non stop) - Slot in 4TB HDD. Alternate Play from SDA 1 and SDA 2. Even set Fan to HIGH or Manual but still hot. Next day tested same thing but only (12 hours of play) but unit only get warms. Solve this issue by opening the front cover haha so like topless dee tongue.gif

2) RC to small, sometimes end up pressing wrong button sad.gif

same as yours, there is tick tick sound when reading from the hdd...
yea notice the heat problem too... thinking of putting another fan but in meantime it can go topless too....

is there a site where i can read/explore like on how to add "script"... etc so that newbies doesn't need to ask senior user repeated question??? rclxub.gif

i slot in 2 1.5TB Samsung F2 still no hear the sound. Maybe u need to scandisk the HDD. maybe got bad sector etc. that tick tick something like early warning of HDD going kaput i think...

S@#t man vmad.gif , the problem now is the sound gone when playing movie files... i need to transfer file to confirm if the ticking sound still there or not... if now if i bring back to the shop, they sure say no problem with it...

Just now try the youtube function and got massage "CANNOT PLAY THE MEDIA" other function internet TV, radio, movie all working fine....
Anyone facing the same problem? Don't think its the internet problem cos i'm on HSBB...

Now bz reading xtreamer official forum on jukebox etc.... rclxub.gif rclxub.gif

Thank for the warning tho....

Tick tick sound means the HDD is giving tick of death...

He should backup whatever items inside and send the disk for warranty asap i guess.  sweat.gif

Bro, better to backup your files and using yellow pages covers the said hard disk and smash it with hammer sweat.gif . Then u can claim for warranty. Sometimes, this is the best way for gila-gila hard disk. brows.gif
