OMG!! I can’t believe how you guys (Sony) messed the so good looking XMB:

- Ugly friend list, completely ugly.
- Ugly status box, full of spam, with 2 clocks, and without an options for the ticker to go off.
- A starting PS3 logo, that doesn’t match with my PS3 Phat version.
- No more PS logo when opening a game.
- No trophy sorting/addons separation as metioned.
- Full of PS Store everywhere, in your face.
- Big fonts and Icons with no choice to adjust.
- Blur background which kills my eyes.
- No Avatars.
- Dynamic LBP not free – $3.00.

QUESTION: Does the marketing team kidnapped the UI designer guys ?? If so, i demand them to release them back !!!

- Where is Backward Compatibility ?
- Where is crossgame chat.
- Where is a better sorting for folders and games.
- Where is a more info/detail/sorting of friend’s trophies.
- Where is better game invites ?
- Where is the ability to create internet bookmarks directly to the XMB.

And i can keep going, WTF!!

This is miserable !!

Another Micro$oft is emerging.

just took a look at the multi audio out function..
seems that it's limited to:
Main HDMI: 5.1
Secondary OPTICAL: 2 channels



no 7.1 if you wish to enable the multi out

What a waste of time !!

I made a better sound setup for myself and considering the space I have, I think I have the best up I can get right now for myself.
4 speakers, 2 subs.

What I did was just connected my PS3 to my PC's soundcard and then use it to output 4.2.
Results were... somehow better than 5.1....

Great stuff..

How'd you do that? Btw, how am i suppose to connect ATP3 to PS3?. I find it akward doing such settings?. And if you kind enough, how do i connect a USB modem and do sharing with my PS3 from PC?

I'm on Windows 7 at the moment..

ATP3 , u can use the AV cable to connect to ur ATP3 from ur PS3. USD Modem le.. i think u need to use ur pc as gateway and share the internet connection to the lan network on PS3.

USB modem->pc-Ps3.

me too , at the moment i just stick to fw2.80...cause ive heard there`s a lot of probs in the new fw3.00

And i agree is not a great update yet from sony.... hope thing improved soon....

why Afrika dynamic theme free only for japan? why sony don't want to share with other regions?

jpn releasing afrika (best/budget) version very soon, the theme is kinda promo for them

also afrika is the name for jpn version only, other regions (will) get the game under different name

no probs wt the latest fw, but mein gott! i feel like I'm blind or something since the fonts are so BIG.

and i want my Playstation 3 logo before my games start! i've got ocd damnit!
