Something for PS Fanboys to jump and shout
good surprise for NGS2. it's a true 720p (vs 1120x585 on X360) and with MSAA x2. it's better than Sigma 1 (no AA) and the first Action AAA PS3 game in 720p + MSAA + 60fps (DMC use temporal AA not true MSAA) Source From Beyond3D...google it..to damn lazy to link it. |

Play it in 1080p and it looks absolutely, horrendous.  And no, the game isn't in solid 60fps all the way as promised at first by the developers. THere are quite a bit of screen tearing as well, although in this case it isn't too bad because you'll be more focused on saving your own ass than worry about screen tears. However you play this game in 1080p, it really... really does spoil the way you play. Everything seems to be upscaled from 576p, now go figure how fuggin' bad it looks on a native 1080p screen.
