I hope 15 of those packs are free new maps. Maybe more classic maps for the Back to Karkand expansion, as BF2 and 1942 had so many awesome maps. I still want to play a BF3 version of the 1942's Berlin map.

Or if they are bloody lazy, just port some good maps from BC2, like Oasis.

The other 6 are 2142, 1942 or even Vietnam in Frostbite 2 engine. Skin packs dont hurt too.

AS LONG AS NO PAID FUKKEN MAPS AND NEW FUKKEN OP WEAPONS OR ANYTHING THAT DIVIDES MP!!!! Sorry for the caps.

Paid expansion, skin packs, some random new mode that dont divide MP, go crazy with them.

I don't think Dice like that method , and so does EA.
But if like only some of them get charged at lower price , maybe it's not so much of a bad idea..

Maybe like of 2 or 3 out of 15 get charged or such...

They can go crazy with the small expansion packs, as long as they dont divide the MP like other FPS.

Well, free Map dlc would be nice .

Anything extra is desert XD

Based on this, its quite true also.

They never show Battlefield 3 on consoles.

IMO, they should make Battlefield 3 an exclusive PC game, like Starcraft 2

and I doubt the consoles can run this game perfectly...I watched "Lens Of Truth" in youtube, most consoles games are capped at 30 fps...can drop to 20fps during explosions in Bad Company 2....i wonder what will the framerate be like when Battlefield 3 is played....

Sales gimmick bro...

They have a much larger team than BC2 which is 4 times of the BC2 team. I have the confidence that they can deliver on consoles. EA have worked on the game for 4 years, and delayed for 2 years, despite the tech is ready. No doubt that the final game will be good on both platform. Besides if they managed to optimized on PC. Don't why they can't do it with consoles.

On the tech side, i doubt the maps are going to be as big as what BF2 had. The map they show in E3, Operation Metro is a pretty small rush map, which there are only 1 vehicle and 4 MCOM points. Not much different than most BC2 maps. The new destruction, it's just a gimmick. There isnt much different than what you see from BC2, as it only involves facade destruction. There are more stuff being destroyed, but no buildings collapsing or anything.

The PC version is on DX11 with all the bells and whistles. Consoles will never able to come out with the level of graphics with current gen. The console graphics will be watered down at the end. This also mean, consoles should run pretty well if BC2 is running ok too.

Just because they keep their cards close to their chest, that doesn't mean the console version sucks. Even the PC version is still having some problem, like screen tearing and animation issues from player feedback. It's a pre-alpha game.

Lastly, I think MW3 will not do as well as MW2, because people are getting tired of the same crap. Even on Steam, Black Ops actually have lower player population than MW2, because it is not the same as the CoD made by Infinity Ward. Infinity Ward have the magic that no one else can replicate. Treyarch have their own unique style, but it would be nicer that they stop trying to copy off from what Infinity Ward had bought. Considering what happened last year with IW, i have even more doubts on MW3's quality, as most of the talented people are gone. From animators to lead programmers.

CoD is the same shit every year with the sole motive to rip as much money as possible. Maximum revenue with minimum effort. Gaming is all about innovations and moving forward, not staying with that old 2007 tech. People like Kotick shouldn't be in the gaming industry as it have been a lot of terrible influence from his company like paid maps in some FPS games or the extremely retarded run and gun arena style. Sooner or later, CoD will end up like Guitar Hero.

I am looking forward to Respawn's FPS. It's a sci-fi shooter.

EA has done very well with rebooting FIFA, NFS and starting new ideas like Dead Space or Mass Effect. I dont see why BF3 cant be as good as those games.
