I've finally quite smoking for almost 2 years now. Even tried e-cig for 3 months prior to that but unsuccessful. Now, I'm free. No more.

I think the main reason why we mostly fail is when we got back to our old habits. For me, it's sitting in open air eateries e.g mamak etc. I tried quitting few years back but went back when I can't refrain myself to light another after my meal. Even if I don't have cigarettes with me, I will buy a pack immediately.
faiz293: It's sort of easy this time round coz I'm prepared and it was New Year 2013 then. So, a lot of motivational push I guess. CKKwan: Did not put on weight, in fact went down a little. Didn't really stuff myself after quit. Also, I'm on some supplements which helps I guess. |

Ryurox2020: It's easy to list out here bro, but it takes determination as well.
1. Tell yourself u need to quit and be firm - for watever reason (kids, health, financial etc) 2. Don't mix around with smoking buddies for at least 6 months (depending on individuals) 3. Cut down mamak or open air dining (smoke zones) as much as possible 4. Don't touch ecig 5. Lastly, but the most effective but a little insane.. get yourself sick every couple of months for 1 year - best is cough. Bad cough. |

durfzstonez: Actually it all comes from yourself. Quit smoking is like slim down to those obese. You need to know why you want to do it, not how.
it's your hormone that's making you feel 'lost'. it will go away if you can persist for a few more months. yes, a few more months. |
