Does the upgrading include down-grading of speed?
My friend used to get 1.5mbps now only get 1mbps.
The extra 0.5mbps was a complimentary upgrade from Streamyx donkey's yeas ago.
Read the log, the maintenance is not yet over and they even re-work on the same IPCORE upgrades in the same region as in 4 July upgrade log. Expect downtime might occurs until August.

Why would they pay to upgrade nation equipments and downgrade the service? The point of the upgrade is to get better performance no? I have not seen they done this kind of maintenance before.

We still don't know what's the so-called "IPCORE", or does anyone here knowledgeable enough to tell us?
From what I see, the uncapped speed is now soft-capped. I feel this could be the QoS equipment that they're implementing to cap those uncapped users. I am affected at this period of this so-called "IPCORE" upgrade, so if this is not coincidence, please enlighten me. TYVM.

From it looks like it serves as exchange nodes, more like a network cloud best use with Trellis modulation but not very sure.

For the moment i only notice the slow speed is depending on the IP, i was downloading a file at dialup speed, so i restart modem to get an new IP and redownload the same file at 35kb/s. It wasn't about the SNR or ES problem too, but i can't complain much about 35kb/s instead of 150kb/s+ now because we all know the gateway submarine cable is under maintenance starting today.

Noted DSL signal disruption today, seems like DSL were offline for 1 minute or more.

And the speed is around 140kb/s for now, i don't know but the soft cap maybe to prevent network overload. By that i just want to know if TM will announce of the maintenance is finished or there will be any delay at all.

I'm using Glite modulation my normal attainable rate was around 5326Kbps. During this faulty AAG incident i noticed modem report the rate reduced by 2000Kbps to 3264Kbps. TM reduced the rate on their end.

less people use at late night, coz people go to work and school/college, peak hours would be starting from evening until to midnight.
