Just to share my opinions.

I just called them to inquire about a price of a guitar model.

Someone answered in a very impatient and rude manner.

me: do you sell hofma guitars?
wf: yes
me: Do you sell the model 302
wf: no stock
me: how much is it?
wf: can't remember
me: hm, can you check please?
wf: no can't remember and no stock anyway
me: errr ( I was quite shocked at this point that he had this screw you attitude)
wf: furthermore we do not tell prices over the phone.
me: ..... ok thanks bye.

I am still at the state of shock! I just don't understand how businesses can afford to treat their customers like this.

He didn't even have the courtesy to treat me with respect and I wasn't even asking for much.

But if anyone knows how much this model cost please tell me! Thanks

i'm surprised....
most probably my reply to woh fatt will be:
"Oh, i didn't realise your business can still survive even though you treat customers like this. Nevermind, i will buy my guitar from Bentley or Guitar Store".

Woh Fatt has been around for three decades.
The "uncles" who had been operating it then
must be gone by now.

A "Chinaman" business, not exactly known for their
customer etiquette.

Anyway, that was where I bought the Pearl distortion
and Guyatone Guitar Exciter pedals in 1986, for
that young guy to encourage him in his interest.

The Pearl was a hopeless distortion, and the "Spectrum"
and "Mode" controls seemed to have hardly any effect
on the hard, thin sound.

frankly the no refund or return policy doesn't count if it is stated on the receipt. It's because the customer would only know about the policy once he/she has paid and upon looking at the receipt. by that time, it is too late as he/she has departed with their hard earn cash. if woh fatt is ethical, they would have put up the sign visible to all at their shops to inform customers before the customer part with their money.
