try play short pass through the middle.if i play 4-5-1 using arsenal,i use short pass through middle.the wingers then become strikers eventhough they play on the flanks.that lone striker should drop a lil bit his attacking mentality,maybe put it as normal or a lil bit defensive.sometimes,my formation can become 4-3-1-2 with that lone striker becomes att mid and supply the ball to the flanks.of course,the striker hardly score goal unless he manage to breakthrough the defenders.
