what u asked wasn't exactly what i meant.

I was referring to whether if CF setup is optimized for most games, which currently IS optimized. CF and SLI are normally optimized through the updates of driver or creating patch update for the particular game. Almost all games DO SUPPORT multi GPU setup (CF and SLI), it will be kinda silly for game developers to make a game which does not SUPPORT multi-GPU setup especially when multi-GPU solution is widely used nowadays.

Likewise for a single GPU. for example, STALKER clear sky is more optimized for ATI GPU compare to NVIDIA. how is this so? it is due to the graphic card architectural as well as the game's graphic engine difference which comes into play.

so i hope that would clear the confusion between SUPPORT and OPTIMIZE

so regarding your question, I wouldn't have a clue. you will have to check out reviews on the net to see if those 2 games are more optimized for nvidia or ati. as long as the fps is more than 60fps in your desirable resolution, who cares if it's more optimized for 4850 or other nvidia cards?

bro if ur willing to increase your budget to RM600 or more. try to get your hands on a 2nd hand GTX 260. If RM600 is already your absolute maximum, and the lower the price the better for u... then i guess the best shot for you would be HD4770, as it's probably the best bang for buck in the mainstream segment. for sure last remnant can be played beautifully with smooth frame rate. however it's not the case for GTA4. Either u try hard to get a 2nd hand GTX 260, or u later CF with a 2nd HD4770 the choice is yours

bro what card were u previously using? and did u update your driver? before u install the new driver, did u use drive cleaning software (driver cleaner, driver sweeper etc.) to clean the previous old driver?

that means after the first year, u wanna claim from them they won't help you out. they will give you the distributor's contact and u will have to claim directly from the distributor yourself.

u know, u could always just return it and ask for 1 to 1 exchange since it's still within 1 week right? but if u wait til the 9.5 CCC releases, and if problem still remains at least by then u have a more solid proof to show that the card is faulty

I dun think u should get too upset with the outcome, i used to get similar bs with my 4850 back then. Can only oc extra 20mhz on core. But it managed to oc another 10mhz after i changed to a better psu, bu that's about it lol
