Finally!
It was fine yesterday morning before we went out, but I came back at lunch, the internet was down. Line, lights all fine, but can't connect. Made a report last night. It was down till just a few mins ago. Wonder what they did.. really frustrating. You expect it to be down for a few hours, not two whole days!

I guess you already know my details.. and here are my problems.

1) Disconnections at 12midnight, every single day.
-My streamyx line for the past 2-3 weeks(or probably more than that), right bang on time at 12 midnight, it will disconnect by itself.. and reconnect a few seconds after that. Why is that?

I have two modems, and both have the same problems. It's really troublesome since I usually play online games during those time and it really spoil the experience and usually I play it on specific servers where usually it's full of people so getting back in can get quite troublesome.

Please stop whateverstuffyouguysinstalled from disconnecting me for no reason at all every single day at the same time.

2) Youtube, snail speed. 56k days are back and you advertised streamyx as something that would download music in minutes.. please.

-I tried to be patient, and think of it as a phase where TM, whatever problems you have, right now, would only throttle it for a while. And once that's fix(AAG implementation?), things will be back to normal. But it's been going on for a month or two and frankly it's annoying.

A video less than a minute would take more than 10mins to load fully? Please. What age are we living in. 56k dialup all over again? Who the hell came up with the brilliant idea of throttling youtube at 20kB/s.. watching paint dry would be more exciting.

I thought with that AAG thing, things would be better? But instead it got worse since you announce that that new link is online.. or something along those lines sometime in November. Let's hope HSBB won't suffer the same fate. Mighty speed, but can't use it's full capabilities.. because TM can't handle the load. If with only 1mb/2mb/4mb you're struggling to provide quality service, I just can't see how you guys will handle those 10mb and beyond packages offered to your customers.

I see lots of throttling ahead for all sources not just P2P(hey, you guys already throttled youtube, rapidshare.. and god knows what else).. which would be a shame. It's like putting a race car in a racing circuit, and putting up a kampung speed limit sign at every stretch of the track. Sadly, your competitors doesn't fare that much better. The price Malaysians pay to be Malaysians. Sigh..

Malaysia wait for it.. 'weak' boleh.

At least they got something right. Youtube. But for the others.. hell. Like last year all over again.. before October when even youtube fails but atleast normal browsing was bearable.
