I just got back to my mom's house in J.B last night (I usually live in Singapore)

Last night and today morning, everything was fine (1mbps package, 88RM per month... and I usually get around 150 - 210 kbps for teh usual megaupload, hotfile, mediafire file sharing sites), but today, my connection has been weird. Many of my frequented sites load very slow, my download speeds from http, irc and ftp all suck (as in 10 kbps or less), but some sites like Youtube still give good speeds.

Past problems ahve usually been the "all-or-nothing" kind, meaning it's either slow for everything or fast/normal for everything .... never had this problem where some are fine and some are slow.

Dunno if I should call the TM bastids, since I know the usual excuses (it seems there are multiple undersea earthquakes happening around Malaysia on a daily basis, according to TM's retarded logic)

It's nearly 4a.m right now, and it's still the same ... Lowyat, Youtube, Newsmap, Myspace, Google are all fast, while Megavideo, LiveScore, Wikipedia, and all the file sharing sites are slow as f*ck. IRC XDCC downloads are slow as well. Usually, if it's traffic/congestion related, it should have cleared up in the wee hours of the morning in this area.
