Yesterday evening Internet down for Penang. Had to call 100, voice recording nothing on outage. So waited around 10 mins to get customer service lvl 1 who put me on hold another 20-25 mins before passing me to premier customer service who put me on hold another 5 mins before telling me Penang facing outage & internet is down there so no need to write report as their techs are currently trying restore service.

Waited for so long just to tell me this. My ear & hand hurt just from holding phone waiting and waiting. They should increase their hotline staffs and find a way to reduce the bloody wait time. Oh yeah if there is an outage quickly have it on voice recording!

Tried few times last night and again at around 3 am still nothing can log in, but no data. Only this morning it works again.

Very frustrated with TM lately, chasing this and that. One matter closed another opens. *sigh* I am having several problems but I will like to rant about 2 of them.

Every few months I need to chase them to allocate more premium ips for my area or I can't connect to internet during nighttime peak hour. Now this issue is recently fix again a week ago or so. After chasing them with nightly calls and making reports since previous report sometimes just closed on their own rolleyes.gif

Another matter which is I noticed several ips in premium range are dead, you can't browse or ping or anything, changing DNS Servers won't help. Besides any IPs not those dead ips can browse/ping traceroute etc. This problem is going for at least 2 months and I start chasing them past month or so. Every time time contacted they promise to fix it but didn't.

Now guess what they did today? Why not just change my port so I won't get those ips. Eh! Simple. Now comes new problem for me. After changed I noticed my usual SNR Margin of 23-28db drop to 15-21db! That is a big drop! I am worried about DC issues, tech now ask me about recapping my line to 4096 instead of 5120 to fix this issue. But cap to 4096 I wouldn't be able to enjoy fully my 4mb. Tonight I talked with cs lvl 2, they acknowledge the new port is showing a bit instability issues sweat.gif . I now hope to get them to again change port if possible. Even if going back to old port I won't mind even if the damn dead ips are there! I will keep my mouth shut or they will cause me more frustrating problems.

These days its very hard to complain to Level 2 (Advance Team) even if your problem is suppose to be handle by Level 2 support.

Usually you wait while on hold then level 1 support will either say level 2 isn't picking up the call or level 2's line is busy.

Crap TM support...

Damn their upgrade exercises, sometime in March they had connection failure nationwide I was quietly downgraded by their system to 2mb, same thing happens again today. I paid for 4mb not 2mb.

Urg! to get tm wifi id I need to migrate my package? WTF? New contract and another round of wasting time to wait for tech to come over? They don't tell me at all ask me to go to Kedai TM.
