Bro i see that ur FC is very consistent when u pour Petronas.. Whats ur city and highway driving ratio?
Currently im pumping Esso all the time and thinking of changing to some different type of petrol to test test.. XD
*
The FC consistency is mostly depend on my right foot la.. whereas for the type of fuel, Petronas give me the best mileage then followed by Esso...just a little bit more only..

Hello. am new. just got my viva yesterday! biggrin.gif
got a question:
How do you fill in the water for the back windscreen wiper? is it from the front one? or is there a separate "tank"?
Currently, no water coming out when i turn the switch..

thanks!
*
They share the same tank of water. It's on your left under the bonnet like what WhiteWing said. Look for the wiper sign there.

Btw, I believe you didn't turn the knob right-up enough, so only the wiper function is activated. Read your manual icon_rolleyes.gif

friends, is it normal that the engine has idling tek tek tek sound? i drove my wifey  viva sometimes, she blames me for the loud sound...she thinks i trashed the engine
*
I am experiencing the so called "tek tek tek" sound while idling (rpm below 820) too. It was cause by an accident last time. Ur car is accident-free right? The sound is from the engine bay or within the cabin itself?

optimal rpm shld be around 1k

try going back to perodua SC and get them to adjust your idling rpm higher..

usually if drop too low also will have the weird sound.. sounds like engine about to die
*
Sry, wrong info. Actually is around 850~870rpm when idiling. The engine doesn't seems like stalling. Whereas the noise is cause by the vibration. Just that occasionally it went lower than the normal value and the noise get louder. rclxub.gif

I am using this: https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=1616531
The seller is from Cyberjaya. It works great! Very clean.

Or you can look @ this: https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1767045
It's cheaper. RM10/pc. I believe they are from the same supplier.

No idea. I just assume yours like this because I had the petrol lid problem, but it's due to the petrol lid "thing" crooked when the petrol station nozzle pressed on it.

I think if your car is still under warranty should be free of charge or with minimal fee for the replacement of that spoiled item.

Btw, how do you pump your petrol now? =O

Thanks man! thumbup.gif

Btw, it doesn't have any drawback for installing it right? Besides steering will feel harder to steer (or maybe not at all).

That's damn true man. When I fetch 2 to 3 person behind and whenever I pass by a bump the rear sink until so deep that even when I am in the front driving got scared.

Anyone change their radio antenna before? How much? Finding the original type, those aftermarket short type doesn't perform well like the ori did.

Actually I just need the stick part. The part where it's installed on the roof is still there. I broke the stick while parking under a tree. XD

what is the best brand for viva and price?
i saw theres two type.square and big circle.any different?
thanks notworthy.gif

Air filter = filter the air before entering the engine (on top of the engine)

Aircon filter = filter the air before entering the aircon vent (inside the car, below the glove compartment)

Driving a 1.0 manual here and when car is fully loaded of course susah a bit lor, but I believe even is 660cc, as long as you hantam the throttle surely can go hill up 1.
