i am no expert in this field but here is my take
i used google dns and on sundays, i find that i am not able to surf. after resetting to use back the default dns in the router, everything goes back to normal. tm is using dns to block sites, and to control this, they tell users that only the modem and routers that supply can be used for unifi. notice how they dont provide you with your xxx@unifi password? maybe to prevent you from setting up unifi on another router? did some reading and they probably use tr069 to remotely change your dns as in above replies. probably use this tr069 to block you from surfing if you are using another dns server. i dont know man. |

It could be one of the reason to ease the TM technical support to help their customer also.

QUOTE(kevraul @ Jun 4 2015, 02:16 PM) i am no expert in this field but here is my take You got method to check your password, just use the inspect element in your Firefox. Change the "password" to "text" then your password will reveal. If you really want to know, you can call TM directly, tell them you want to change new router yourself. They will confirm your identity if you are the owner of the account.i used google dns and on sundays, i find that i am not able to surf. after resetting to use back the default dns in the router, everything goes back to normal. tm is using dns to block sites, and to control this, they tell users that only the modem and routers that supply can be used for unifi. notice how they dont provide you with your xxx@unifi password? maybe to prevent you from setting up unifi on another router? did some reading and they probably use tr069 to remotely change your dns as in above replies. probably use this tr069 to block you from surfing if you are using another dns server. i dont know man. It seems like tm are not well come google dns.
I face this kind of issue on these days. Sometimes shows no network connection issue. After few second it back to normal. Same as wechat and line, frequently show no connect to the server. |
