To burn fats, we need to know this equation,
Calories In - Calories Out = Fat Gain / (Fat Loss)
So if we eat 3000 calories per day and only use up 2500 cal, 500 cal become store as fats, generally speaking.
Knowing that, we should aim to do 2 things:
1) Reduce Calories In
2) Increase calories Out
the traditional way where we starve ourselves. Because if we do that, it will not last... We will crave for food and one day cannot take it and start eating away again. 2nd thing is that once we starve ourselves, our body goes into a starvation mode and start to accumulate fats because it thinks that we are lacking food and needs to store up energy.
Ok, the next part about Calories Out.
I realised that some exercises compared to the rest can help burn more calories and can help achieve the results faster.
1) Major Muscle Groups - Instead of doing lots of abs exercises, focus on MAJOR MUSCLE group like Chest, Deltoids (shoulders), Legs.
These muscles, when worked out, requires a lot of calories. In comparison to abs, abs exercises actually require very little calories and thus we burn less.
2) speed training and circuit training is more effective than long slow jog.
