These are some rules I practice in my weight (fat) loss program:

~ Calories cut, 500 calories deficit per day out of your Basal Metabolic Rate. (e.g. if you burn 1850 cals per day, then you should cut to 1350cals)
~ 3 days per week weigh training and cardio (jogging 3km to 4km) on resting days.
~ Amplify your metabolic rate. (be it 5-6 small meals per day, green tea, workouts in the morning, eating 45% proteins, Lipo 6, 8 hours sleep, etc.)
~ Consume 3 liters of water per day. (fats finds it dificult be oxidize if you low on body water)

I planned to loose 10kg in 12 weeks, now on week 8 and total loss so far 5~6 kg, but I also do weigh training, so it's hard to tell the fat loss apart. But for this, the solution is to wear your jeans an see if the waist decrease biggrin.gif

I learn that, if you do it for the sole purpose of loosing fat, the motivation isn't that potent...so when I do it to look lean (muscular) and healthy, I look past my original fat loss goal and focus more on the fitness part, while as a bonus loosing fat/weight.

I hope you guys find this regiment useful. smile.gif

P.S: The weigh training can be optional, but it's a bonus to look lean by the time you reach your weight goal thumbup.gif
So pump that iron...

I am taking lipo 6 black now
i dont know but I think I prefer the lipo6x better

Added on July 2, 2010, 8:02 pmguys I need some advice...

current stats
height 177cm
weight 86kg

my current cycle:

wake up in the morning  took 3 tablets of lipo 6 black, warm up for 10 minits then I do HIIT training plus little cardio, then I drink protein shake and eat my breakfast

breakfast consist of vege and chicken breast and 3 whole eggs all cook with not a single drop of oil on a non stick pan.

then mid afternoon I took another 3 pills of 6 black then do weight training 30-45 min then cardio about 20 min... follow up by protein shake. my dinner is the same with breakfast.

basically i only eat twice a day on a low carb, high protein and fiber intake. I do not take any healthy oil supplement like flaxseed OIL or CLA.

but my weight arent decresing... guess its because of me growing muscle...

Great program you got there! Full of proteins thumbup.gif

Ok, the supps, sometimes different supps works differently on different person.

Finished a bottle of MT Hydroxycut hardcore, lost only 2kg in a month. (with proper diet and grueling workouts)
After that, I finished a bottle of Lipo 6 (the normal one) I lost about 5 kg of weight in a month, but most of the time makes me feel unenergetic during workouts.

After 2 weeks cycle, I'm trying Ergogenix Ergoburn right now, lost 1 kg for more than a week atm, the workouts was awesome bcoz Ergoburn give you the energy needed for intensity and focus in the exercise.

About Lipo 6 Black, I planned to buy that instead of Ergoburn, but I read loads of reviews about it (lipo6 Black) and wasn't really convince of the product, some of the reasons are because of the price and 6 servings per day, and MORE important the ingredients when compared to other products because of it's scientifically vague results in tests....
It took me a long time to decide if the Lipo 6 Black was the better choice for me, but then found out about Ergoburn (previously known as AMP-2)

So again, I hope you'll find which supps works for you...but then again, maybe Lipo 6 Black is working for you but you gain muscle and couldn't see much results in weight loss, but most probably fat loss and muscle gain which is superb! thumbup.gif

You should be taking flax seed oil. Omega 3 fatty acid is an essential nutrient, which means if you don't have enough, you get malnutrition.

The saying "you need to eat fat to loose fat" shouldn't be taken for granted laugh.gif

A good bottle of Extra virgin olive oil in the kitchen should do the trick...

I m using bolognese  - full with tomatoes and tomatoes paste and onion hehe.
*
Although I use to work as a chef and cook number of pasta dishes, the best is always with: extra virgin olive oil and salt only drool.gif
Bolognese is healthy, for fat loss regiment, the ingredients I root for is simple: Olive oil (to sweat the onions and garlic), a can of peeled tomato + diced fresh tomatoes, fresh basil leaves or dry oregano, lean minced beef meat, then season it with salt and better or best with chicken stock. Cooking time only 10 minutes tongue.gif
Balanced carbs, proteins and barely fat...

I saw there are plenty of recipe for bolognese, most of them are suggesting peeled tomato, is there a reason? coz when i cook, i just pan fry the tomato til it looks a little soft then i put in water with tomato paste.
*
The difference between tomato paste and peeled tomatoes is that:
~Tomatoes patse gives a more pungen, zestier and stronger tomatoes essence to the bolognese..
~Peeled tomatoes (canned) gives a milder contrast and juicier while stay close to the classic Italian recipe..

Both are fine depends on what you like, but remember the herbs bro: Basil + tomato are superb combo thumbup.gif or dried oregano herbs are good enough as well. biggrin.gif

I guess I'll turn back to bolognese time again now tongue.gif
I'm quite fussy in cooking, hence always put a lot of nice ingredients for my cooking but nowadays need to watch out for that already, got to be much more careful than last time

Anyway, it's weekend, at the end I had all the cheat meals  sweat.gif

If you want something else than bolognese and 'creamy' as well, try this sauce:

Plain Yogurt + Extra virgin Olive oil + Garlic (optional if you don't like it, but garlic is key in this sauce, cooked in olive oil first before putting in other ingredients) + chicken stock (for seasoning, the powder ones, not the cube ones) + herbs (a little dried oregano) and slices of small pieces of chicken breast.

Very simple, cooking time ETA 5 minutes. tongue.gif

That bolded part is the most counter-productive way to loose the fats, instead could even promote fat storage. doh.gif

BUT, since to got the motivation, with the right path and proper methods, you could even loose those extra weigh as fast as those contenders in 'The Biggest Loser'.

Huhu soup drool.gif

The key to any soup dishes is mirepoix (just google it if you're not a chef), it's the basics in french/european/western based soup.

The liquid soup itself is for sure insufficient in nutrients, but the added solid ingredients such as meats, veggies, tofus, etc. should be the derivatives of your nutrition needs/demand.

I always make a little soup after I pan fried - for instance, chicken breast, because after I can just deglaze the pan with water which thus encapsulate the flavours of the chicken. (ain't got the time to make a potful of chicken stock to be stored in the fridge) WHILE on the 2nd pan I do the mirepoix, THEN transfer the "stock" to the 2nd pan. At this point I'll add condiments such as sliced Pak Choy leaves, tofu, mushroom, etc. to the soup.
Prep. less than 7 mins. rclxms.gif
