Nope..EG : 200 X 15 = 3Ghz VS 300HTT X10..The 300HTT wins anytime.This is due to it interact/communicate more efficient.
Just like FSB..(maybe)

Well..Maybe we need some Gaming Benchmarks or..Some Synthetic perhaps?
Becos its just like FSB..FSB 400 VS FSB 500..Same clockspeed..which 1 faster?Isnt it about the same concept? |

the cpu-nb thing..only after find max proc and max ram then only play with the nb?
is the cpu-nb volt does help to find max vcore? The CPU-NB helps the CPU stable/act as "Extra Vcore"IINM There's 2 option NB Volts and CPU-NB..This CPU-NB is used to ensure stability on the proc. While the NB Volts about those NB Frequency and other things. |

Lower HT Link sometimes helps CPU stable..Mine if 2000 Mhz HT Link not stable..But at 1.8Ghz stable(all same settings except HT Link lor)

Looks nice..
[TPU] AMD Readying Low Cost ''Suzuka'' Opteron Processors QUOTE Over a month into the release of its flagship enterprise processor, the six-core Opteron codenamed "Istanbul", the company expressed plans to roll out another line of Opteron chips, this time targeting the cost-effective SME market, and not exactly power scaling and parallelism offered by its two-socket and multi-socket capable Opteron 2000 and Opteron 8000 series. The new quad-core processor will be codenamed "Suzuka", and will be made for single-socket systems. For this reason, it will not use the 1207-pin Socket F, but rather the AM3 socket, and will be compatible with existing AM2(+) motherboards that support the Budapest quad-core chip (single socket version of Barcelona). Suzuka shares the same die design as Shanghai (Opteron) and Deneb (Phenom II). It features four x86-64 processing cores on a monolithic die, with 512 KB of L2 cache per core, and a shared 6 MB L3 cache. Dual DDR2/DDR3 memory controllers work in ganged or unganged dual-channel modes. Currently three models are ready, the 2.50 GHz Opteron 1381, 2.70 GHz Opteron 1385, and 2.90 GHz 1389. These chips are specified to come with system bus speeds of 2200 MT/s (HyperTransport bus actual speed of 1100 MHz). All three models come with a rated TDP of around 115 W, and is built on the 45 nm SOI process. Opteron 1381 is priced at US $189, Opteron 1385 at $229, and Opteron 1389 at $269. Sos Im thinking of grabbing Opteron pulak..I just love the Logo |

QUOTE(XiuKeong @ Jul 6 2009, 06:12 PM) Next year is more towards quad core and 6 core I presume? Maybe 955 will drop price till Rm5** by late next year Next year is mostly only "upgraded" version of Deneb.Maybe lower TDP,enchanced clocks..etc..Late next year got new chips based on 32nm/Bulldozer edy i think @xcen Go to bios. Then set your ACC to auto Anw..yes Alu good for dissipation if no fan to cool it..But Copper + Fan slap it |

Hmm..Slow down?never heard before..I thought VCore only related to the CPU stability..The slowdown must have something intefering with it
