Everyone like off topic.... Come back to Tamiya Mini 4wd...

yeah, the actual thing to make the car fast is the roller ( if the motor is in the same condition), meanwhile, with the technical track and 6 rollers rule, the position of roller even more important.... fast and slow motor got diff roller position setting too, i'm also learn this at the comp and while i am practice at TU.

the front roller cause the car turn and cornering, actually it's far more important than the real; the real roller is for balancing the car, due to we have the change lane track, most of the time the car is depend on the real roller to cross the lane, the tire is not on the lane, you can refer to the photo faiz take,



for this car, if the front roller set at position which lower, the car should cross the change lane with more safety, while the back roller setting is very good, as we can see that it's stick with the track and balance the car so well.

so, how fast your car is and how high/low you should set the roller.

Hmm, my understanding both front n rear equally important... No only lane change tat effected, on the race day... I tried to position the rear bottom roller high about 3mm... Wat happen... My car was fly off at the 80degree lane... Even when high speed comering, the rear lower roller can support/stabilize the car at the track....

The smoother the bearing, the speed will increase...

Your car was very fast.... Did u did anything onto the motor??

if in this case, this will make your car become slower, according your theory, this design "force acted on the car to move forward" will make your car structure totally change, all you gear box, ball bearing position will run out from their own place due to.

for me, this's actually a design of arm of force, or simply arm, which:
power/force*(moment point roller to yellow"set A")=resistance*(moment point yellow to red"set B")

So, as your car B>A let say 2:1, thus, when point red can support 1kg, which when balance, the force/power will need 2kg, if the force/power over 2kg, which your theory started to work.

this design actually to protect your car by the theory of arm

i found out why tamiya make their roller extension weird shape.



let say the car is turning to the left .
as u guys can see,the yellow screw act like a pivot point where the red screw is in stress.If guys see the direction of stress of the left roller,is backwards. BUT because of the position of the extension, the stress on the red screw is forward. Thus force acted on the car to move forward.
