For 1 semester, they will giv u tuition fees+half yr allowance. Check the table of allowance that they've provided to us.

I have a question please. Is this scholarship available for international students doh.gif? And how to if yes?
*
I doubt it. It is stated in the requirement that applicant must b a Malaysian citizen. I guess u shld try ur luck at the companies' scholarships or ur country's scholarship.

ehh im very confused now.

about the lampiran B right, the akuan penerimaan, it is stated in the surat tawaran (5th statement) that it has to be sent to JPA before 31st oct or else they will take it as you rejected the scholarship.

so do we have to send this separately to JPA or what?

i asked my HEP officer, he said no need to do so, just send all the documents to the HEP then they will send it to JPA. But what if they don't send it before 31st oct?

Anyone can clarify this?
*
Ur worrying too much. Everythin will b sent to JPA by our uni HEP units. Just prepare the docs, sign and send to HEP unit. Then its done. Even ur HEP officer said so.

LOL sorry bout that. Was a quote from different thread.

Ah i see. I haven't meet my HEP unit yet. I 4got about it today LOL. Will check 2moro. But all the docs deadline is on 31st oct. Its more rational if they just send all at once.

haha yeah sometimes we doubt them too. Well, i just passed all my stuffs to them and the office lady said she'll handle it.

Pos laju/ekspres will only take a day to reach putrajaya. And normal post will take a week most. If ur extremely concerned, then check out the HEP officer everyday and say hi haha.

just go thru the forum in esila. as i understood, we need to lapor diri to JPA (or JPA and SPA?) as soon as we finish our pengajian or after convocation? example, i finish my pengajian on 31st january 2012, but my convocation in during october in 2012.

in the forum, the moderator or pegawai JPA said we need to lapor diri and memohon jawatan. can we just lapor diri but don not memohon jawatan?
*
Are u graduating from degree? Yeah it is stated in our agreement that we need to report to JPA and apply for a job in SPA within 30days after ur studies have ended. Then, u can wait for a period of 6months or 1 yr (I don't rmbr) for any response from SPA. If there is still no response within the period, u may 'escape' the bond happy.gif. Well, we can't stay jobless forever to wait for them.

Hmm the 'lapor diri' shld b made after ur studies ended. Like after ur last final exam. I 4got too whether the period of 6months/1yr starts from the graduation date or the date when ur studies end. And, after ur graduation, u need to send JPA a copy of ur degree/diploma certificate.

its one year.
now the job offer i got is like standard Rm2.5-Rm3k. dun wan go to gov job like Rm1.8k-Rm2.4k....T___T

Try to explain to ur company to buy over your government bond? It happened to my cousin's Sime Darby scholarship where another company bought his bond over and provided a new shorter bond.

Just hope SPA won't respond haha.

Added on December 16, 2011, 4:12 pmI called JPA...and it seems that new students will have to wait until January to get the money.

is this Borang Elaun Latihan Amali, is the correct form to claim elaun latihan amali?

cause back in last sem, i was told by my Uni HEP staff to use the exact same form to claim thesis money.
*
Not really sure with that. U can ask ur HEP again or JPA.

QUOTE(winter-X @ Dec 13 2012, 10:57 AM)
anyone here got your tawaran PIDN during second year?
I heard my friend said PIDN will paid your 1st year debt (from PTPTN) but then when I called and asked, they say not provided. We have to clear it by ourselves. Anyone here can confirm it?
and my tempoh tawaran is from year 2 to year 5 (4 years) but then my course only until year 4. should i change to year 2 to year 4 (3 years)?
*
Any scholarship starts from the day your application is approved. Normally if u get it in the 2nd yr, that's when u start being sponsored. Your first year ptptn won't be sponsored. I didn't know we can apply PIDN in the 2nd yr. About your period of studies, you'll have to clarify with JPA staff. This relates to your contract.

Well,
Hope it's not like. in the mid of semester of smth  shocking.gif

It can be as late as early next semester. Make sure you notify your university that your sponsor might be paying late. My first semester tuition fees were paid after the final exam. Thankfully the university understood and allowed us to take the exams haha.

I am applying for PIDN for 2013/2014

But my parents would like to know more information about to consider whether to accept or not if i get it
I am an A-level student and results was AAA , and applying to Monash SunwayCampus for Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering

1) Anyone know the salary range during the 6 year bond ?

2) If i want to study master after my degree , can i defer the bond 1-2 years later , after complete my master only come serve?
My course fees per year is rm38.000 , my couse is 4 years. I got a 25% scholarship from Monash University , and my dad say with the 25% scholarhip and PTPTN he can afford to fund my studies so he let me choose whether to want take the PIDN and serve 6 years or self fund
*
1) I've no idea abt that. Its probably following a typical fresh grad salary for ur respective field.
2) Yeah no prob. I did my diploma and degree. Both under JPA scholarship. Best thing is that the bond period overlaps biggrin.gif

Just a note, u might serve the bond under the government if they have positions available. Otherwise, u can work in private sector as long as within malaysia.

But what if i want to study overseas(AUSTRALIA) for master , would they ban me from getting a visa???

And i would like to apply for post-study work visa and work there for 2years before coming back , would they allow me to do that?  sad.gif
*
Continuation of studies shld be fine. U just have to inform JPA and probably sign an agreement for extending the start of bond serving.

But working in overseas well, i dont think that's possible. Unless u don't mind getting blacklisted. The agreement states that we are required to apply for SPA (gov version of jobstreet) right after our studies. If a job is available and we are hired through SPA, we need to go to work. There's a specific period that we need to apply to SPA. I guess ur 2yrs work in overseas will breach the agreement. Need to ask JPA as u might have a chance in a case by case basis.
