Hi,Phelix. All M3 customize cant add in the M3. The M6 had been increase Rm1K. But not yet saw the car in show room.

if u go for performance, then the 2.5L is for u.
The new face lift of Mazda 6 2.0l features is almost the same as the Mazda 3 2.0l.
now got paddle shift and multi features steering wheel.

OTR price is 153k

but the current offer is better than the previous as the new face lift come with free 3 years free service.

It is good to have more variety of cars OTR rather than everyday watching T and H badges OTR..feel too boring & like vomit.

1.6 M3 costs >RM110K OTR
1.6 forte costs RM81K OTR

difference about 30K...

better choose the one value for money instead of the overpriced one.

Forte is CKD right? if that's the case, so I guess you can't really say that mazda 1.6 is overpriced since its CBU from jap.

Personally, I would prefer Mazda to remain as an exclusive brand in M'sia and enjoyed by those who truly appreciates the "Zoom-Zoom" spirit...

Dude, same as me. I also have to choose between Forte 2.0 and Mazda3 Sport 1.6.

Last few days, the NAZA saleman called me that Forte 2.0 will be launching either end of March or start of April.

In a correction should be 3 years free - Labour+Part(what parts??) , not free service, the labour would not cost you much if you have already able to afford mazda 3 seriously. And I couldnt answer you because i'm not sure dealer would get the same deal, but i just guess 'Yes'

Above answer might wrong because according to some sources they meant the promotion is FREE LABOUR and FREE PART (Included Engine Oil)??? Hopefully some1 can clarify for me.

Btw, just to clarify, M3 2.0 dun have push start and leather seat.

Choosing between these 2 will not be easy.

You pay less with Forte 2.0 and get most of those toys they throw in for you. But toys will be just toys. It is fun to have, like having toys...Anyway the most important thing is u got 2.0L engine against 1.6, and paying less for it.

On the other hand, you pay more with Mazda 1.6 and get even lesser toys (almost none, actually). You got smaller engine too...but its ride and handling blows your Korean counterpart in no time.

I've driven a Forte 1.6 sx, which was owned by a friend, and it's a fine and nice car to have. Keyless entry, the trunk automatically opened when u leave the remote inside etc....great toys. Nice look, bigger rear legroom. However, comparing this two beauty, my friend do remarked on how good Mazda 1.6 cockpit looks, especially at night (even a 1.6!), and how good the ride and handling is.

After driving the Forte (1.6 sx), I suddenly realize why some people see Mazda as "BMW from the east". The ride and handling prowess is far superior.

Of course, u can't use this post as your guide. If I had driven a Forte 2.0, I might find a better drive. It might blow mazda 3. Who knows? I do also heard that a Forte "handle curves like a Golf GTi" so, logically, it could be the 2.0 variant.

The best way to know is to go and test drive Forte 2.0 and Mazda 1.6 for yourself and do it again and again until u find out which one really meant for u.

This is why I told you earlier, choosing and comparing between these 2 is hard.

Yeah can handle curves like a GTI.. just put on hard lowered springs and stiff shocks...of course can tapau corners wt less roll and more stability haha. But what is the sacrifice to the ride quality?

At the end its u get what u pay for ...i never expect Mazda's handling to ever beat BMW (other than its totally diff chassis config...RWD wt 50:50 weight distribution)...the same goes for Forte - hard to expect it to beat Mazda's handling attributes which it has been famed for

If u want a best all for value car, then Forte is the choice. If exclusivity, ride & build quality and handling matters to u more, then its the Mazda.

haiya ... still flip flopping between forte 2.0 and mazda 3 2.0. The former about to arrive .. the latter ready stock .Arghhh!!! Can't decide.

Mazda3 rear legroom is short ... but could it be becoz the front seat are thick and the rear seat has longer thigh support?
The forte has ample rear legroom but i find the rear seat short of thigh support for adult.

Could be possible, since they're sharing the same chassis...

I also think most of M3 now are stock 100%. Even so, stock M3 is one of the sexiest car in it class on our roads now!

I leave it stock for 1-2 years first. After some time you will feel the need of modding etc. By then hopefully Mazda will introduce lots of mods!

Wow...so brave you...i have to wait until get my insurance. Affraid to buy honda city. That's why i'm doing some research about mazda. Hopefully will get the money soon..TQ for your review.
