the red one i fully understand bro but
i cant imagine n understand the bold part.. yet.. i try to sketch but still dun get it lol.. how can be 42mm (i know 28 x 1.5 but.. how to explain ar sweat.gif )
*
APS-C has a Crop Factor of x 1.5
FF doesn't have Crop Factor which means x 1.0

So...
18mm Focal Length on APS-C = 18mm x 1.5 = 27mm
28mm Focal Length on APS-C = 28mm x 1.5 = 42mm

28mm Focal Length on FF = 28mm x 1.0 = 28mm
42mm Focal Length on FF = 42mm x 1.0 = 42mm

So using 28mm on APS-C (28mm x 1.5 = 42mm) is like 42mm on a FF.

all camera is a good camera.
it's up to you to produce a good picture.

It's also OK if all you have is a PNS.
An expensive DSLR is only as good as the person pressing the shutter

So go out there and try all the nikon, canon, olympus, pentax, sony and whatever brand there is based on your budget.
*
Very true, back then 'IF' I had the budget (before A200/A300/A350 was released)... probably I'm at Pentax ship instead of Alpha.. Haha, but no regrets.

hey guys wanna get myself a UV filter, where you guys recommend me to get and with good price ? im around pj
*
Usually for small stuff like that, I would just buy from Shashinki or Yamiya, unless I had some other things I want to get as well. Not worth the hassle for just a UV Filter.

but then i remembered that we din pay because the barrier was lifted and the guard went to pee (perhaps)

Oh, you're kinda lucky! Anyway, just to make it clear... it's RM 10 per person, not per vehicle.

Kul | Mo0 playes B'ball? Let's play next time, I got my own team. Haha... (OT)

Anyway guys, I'm in a stuck situation right now. Looking at my gears below, I primarily uses 28-75 for wedding shoot and it's definitely not wide enough for tight places (e.g. room).

I'm quite stuck on what type of wide angle lens I should get. My cravings are for f/2.8 lenses like the 16-35 CZ for low lighting situation (have to forget about it due to budget constraint). I mainly see that Tamron and Sigma had small aperture which isn't attractive (perhaps I'm too picky). So, I would like to have some feedback on what kind of budget performing wide angle lens that I can get for Wedding Shoot. The Tamron 17-50 f/2.8 seems to be a good choice but kinda make my lens line up a little weird.

Also, I probably would get a F58 as well. Need another flash for backup purposes... hence I have lower budget for a lens.

wha7ever, you might have a problem with the Tamron 17-50mm F2.8 - you won't be able to differentiate between it and a Minolta 28-75mm F2.8 in the dark! ;D
*
That's what I thought of too! Tried the Tamron on 40D previously. Think I'll better invest in a F58 first and rent a UWA if really need something wide.

Argh, don't have any good samples to show you. It's like when you fired flash, you'll see your subject's eye is kinda like sparkling. Those are called catch lights smile.gif

sorry bro... gray color kinda dull to me... increase more highlights perhaps?  hmm.gif

Too bad, I only had the white backdrop (the light bounce around makes it grayish). No time to find a different color backdrop, shall go look for diff color tomm.

QUOTE(Banzai_san @ Jun 19 2009, 11:05 AM)
Maybe some creative lighting to give the product more 3D impack visually.
hehe... saya komen je, reti tak jugak. Tgh tunggu payment, pastu barulah boleh beli an Alpha  sad.gif
I'm only limited to popup flash and a F42, Creative Lighting not much of a possibility. Wanted to try the "achew" style using background spot lights, but doesn't seem right with this. Oh, and it's non-PPed.

Instead of shooting in liveview, try OVF. See, if you get the same issue. If it doesn't... likely it's the LiveView sensor is out of orientation (means, send for replacement/warranty).
