QUOTE(alpha_company @ Jun 22 2009, 02:45 AM) yup i took the pics with low sharpening..so it's purposely soft and i do like more saturation in hdr.. 1st consider this before taking into mind the level of noise and IQ. 1. The D300 he's using VS my beginner level D60 dslr... ..thats far.. noise control/iso/dynamic range etc 2. The quality of the lens he is using with his D300.. im guessing nikkor 10-24mm from the info - a much more expensive one + better IQ 3. Not sure about how he did his HDR, but i did it with only one raw file but afaik from experience 3 or more different raw taken with diff exp is better than editing only one raw file. 4. The software he used for HDR. This is because different HDR softwares can produce different levels of noise when making HDR. Added on June 22, 2009, 2:46 amjgn marah ar..marah kena jual..hehehe i think u should play more with the sliding bars... and no need to blame ur gear la.. HDR itself like PP.. so.. what eva ur gear, u can edit like god.. but.. if ur compo is bad... u using D3 also no use...

QUOTE(alpha_company @ Jun 22 2009, 03:13 AM) actually HDR is PP only different kind of PP. just take note of no. 3 and 4 if you think i'm blaming my gear only.. and the question here is the noise, saturation & softness of the pic.. not compo.. okay.. tell me what software u use... and u use one RAW right?

my one raw file using photomatix and i'm just using 'one of the worst' kitlens... 18-135mm so... try again with other setting kay.. play with all the sliding bars, till u get what u want... either realistic.. or artistis terlebih2... This post has been edited by razuryza: Jun 22 2009, 03:34 AM

QUOTE(alpha_company @ Jun 22 2009, 03:39 AM) i purposely used "portrait" and not normal mode. so very low sharpening and soft and very low contrast too. it's just me but i do love the over saturated kind of hdr pics..just me though can see a bigger pic around the size of mine? cause smaller pics would show very little noise. btw, D300 right? nice.. nope. D80 here another example.. for outdoor shot.. This post has been edited by razuryza: Jun 22 2009, 04:59 AM
