I am new in this share trading. Would love to open an account to do online trading. However is there any minimum deposit in my trading account before I could trade online ? Let's say, will the bank say you must have RM10K in your account before you trade online ?

Get a Maybank ATM, activate Maybank2u, Open a CDS account under Maybank Investment Bank Bhd. (All No need deposit).

Then when you start to buy shares, then you need to have money.

I think there is a credit-check period. I remember I had to wait for a few weeks for my M2U share a/c. For sure they don't want to approve your account if your credit card payment are few months overdue. laugh.gif

Can proceed discussion in here. http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/609001/+800

There is no min deposit, it depends on credit facility they(broker houses) wish to impose which depended on trust on individual but for nominee accout, normally they need deposit before buying.
