First day Purchase.

Its first time we copied Sony (LBP)

Yah after watching it this trailer , it seems like it just without the creativeness gameplay of the Lbp

Well nintendo is actually copying LBP.

Creating games which allow user to create their own level. See so many games that work that way. Nintendo keep emphasizing about user creating games blabla~

Its ok for nintendo to copy because other platform copy nintendo a lot also

This game can online multiplay too ?? Too bad my Wii is modded.

Guys! I am really excited for this, this is a day one purchase. Will snap up a Collector Edition if Nintendo decided to put out one.

I think it will be fun. Its a classic game vamp for everyone - thats nintendo thing right? Regardless of anything, still going to try it out!

not really interested in smb anymore, same old stuff with just 4 multiplayer

wish Nintendo will release this new mario on DS too...=P

Yup sad change of date

Worldwide release of the new Mario platformer for Wii, New Super Mario Bros. Wii, is only a month away now, and it's go-time for the developers of the game. While they now need to focus on polishing up every little thing in the game, it's also the time where they can start hyping the game up by releasing more details.

Today they have done just that, releasing a bunch of information about what is in the game and how it will work. Details are as follows:

- Players can choose from either the main adventure or multiplayer challenge modes
- The main adventure has 8 worlds
- Like the NSMB ds, there is a fortress and castle at the middle and end of each world (respectively)
- Peach has been kidnapped (when will she stay out of trouble?!?)
- Koopas will invade certain areas of the game
- Rafts can sink on water levels if too many characters are on them
- There's a rollercoaster in a lava level
- Level will end if all players lose their lives at the same time
- You can't hurt team -mates with ice/fire-balls
- Secret passages will be in the game as usual
- Game will have missions in which Toad needs to be rescued
- Multiplayer challenge stages are a mix of levels, but most levels can be found in campaign
- The stages offer Free For All/Coin Battle options.
- Go through a level playing against others, aim for a new high score
- Coin Battle: Player that ends up with the most coins wins
- One stage is similar to world 1-2 from Super Mario Bros.
- When a player dies, pausing does not work

A good little list of features so far announced by the developers - and a solid foundation for announcements to come. The game is released November 20 in Australia/Europe.

Late reply, but you can play games on a modded Wii online....
Anyway, can't wait for this game. The only mario games that got me hooked are the 2d ones. Galaxy make me sleep only.

There is no online multiplayer.

Oh, i just realise the release was for PAL australia, which released last 8th nov. My daughter loves mario la. I, well, love what she loves. actually as macho as a man i am, i think mario and friends are very cute.

I'm eyeing the Tin Edition as well.

I am waiting for response email from Game.co.uk to see if they can ship it to the hotel I'm staying while I'm in Frankfurt between this 26th-29th. Using their checkout system, they do not allow or accept credit cards from countries they don't ship out to, that includes Malaysia.

If they confirm that this works, I'll do it like how the American purchases are done: ship it to the hotel I'm staying. I am also eyeing that delicious Black Wii and may choose to purchase this together with that Tin SMB.

Once they give me the greenlight, it's a go. Crossing all fingers........

not sure but if not mod, korean wii will be NTSC/J
and US nsmbwii is NTSC/US, so meaning u wanna play ori, u have to buy the Japanese copy

well, i believe that most korean sets are modded,
so, it should have been converted to NTSC-U

anyway, if it's an original copy, and you mentioned a modded korean set...you should have hbc, and with hbc, you can play all ori and non ori games

of course, since you have the ori copy, if you run the disc channel, there may be a requirement for you to update your system...so, you know what will happenla if you choose for a system update...XD

Original Korea Set is NTSC-K, but all the Korea Set in the market is NTSC-U

U can use Gecko OS thru HBC to skip the update...

if your wii is an american set, dun see any problem dude

as mentioned a page previously...you can play ori games in a modded wii...just don't use the "legitimate" disc channel as you will get an update prompt

oredi finish tis game. the last stage is totally diff when facing bowser.

triple AAA titles but only regret is cant play 4p over online... other than that this great wii games and deserved 10/10 in my book..
