Slowly dream la f2p.... and f2p games will mostly ended up p2w (pay to win). So in other words, you might be spending more that p2p games in a f2p games

Just as the user above said , You can dream about that.


The game is probably one of the mmo with biggest budget , F2P isn't going to give them enough money to sustain the server.


Plus not being F2P gets rid of :

*Philipino and Vietnamese who are extremely annoying and love to spam alien language in public chat . They dont pay for the game much therefore you mostly find them infesting private servers

*most of 13 Years old who have not even grownenough hair to make mature comment that tend to annoy you to death.



The reasons listed above is more than enough to make this game NOT F2P.

^ that is correct but biggest budget ? I'm not sure but personally I think Blizzard spent the largest budget on WoW.

It will be an autofailure if it's F2P. Just look at one of the most popular F2P game, Silkroad. 3 years back I played the game and they have like 10-20 servers. Now recently I thought the game will be less crowded, but hell no! damn with even more servers they are all FULL. I can't even bloody join the game......

Infested by gold farmers, botter and what not.. this is what u get for a F2P game....

Actually typical my n sg kid are also consider pest in game. Luckily in ffxi, swearing will land u a warning or even pban. They have zero tolerance for spoil brats. Ff series game might be suitable for all ages that understand how controller works but for online experiences its for adults n not kid.

To sum it up, the problematic players of the world come from few locations : Brazil, Malaysia, Singapore, Phillipines. This is the general consensus, and I hope the P2P format keeps them out since all those PINOY, BENGS and OIBR? people won't pay for it.

Anyone tried FFXI? Will it lag in streamyx or digi? Is there any VPN service for FF XI?

The reason I ask is because if FF XI is lag, then gg to FF XIV....zzzz

Played FFXI for a while. Latency is good
overall. Very playable
