I haven't setup yet. I am modding my case in the same time so I have to wait that it is done.

Now I have sent the motherboard tray for painting in a shop, so I have to wait to get it back (normally on Monday) before to start on the WC setup. Will let you know how it goes wink.gif

Can you get these and for how much:

Bitspower G1/4 Black Sparkle Dual Rotary 45-Degree Compression Fitting-ID 7/16" OD 5/8": http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/ind...oducts_id=25670

Bitspower G1/4 Black Sparkle Triple Rotary 90-Degree Compression Fitting-ID 7/16" OD 5/8: http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/ind...oducts_id=25658

Bitspower Premium G1/4" High Flow 7/16" ID (5/8" OD) Compression Fitting - Black Sparkle Finish: http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/ind...oducts_id=24844

Already thinking of improving my loop rolleyes.gif

I am particularly interested in the 90 degree fitting as it would really help my tube routing from the GPU block to the rad smile.gif

For those of you who are using the Scythe Slipstream fans, I would recommend to undervolt them at 5V.

I am using the 1600 RPM ones (high) and once hooked up to the rad they were quite noisy. It is actually no the fan itself which is noisy, but because they are pushing lot of CFM, the air through the rad is doing quite some noise. Somemore, with my tj-07, once I closed the case, the grill at the bottom was also adding some noise as the fan are closed to it and again because of the turbulence created.

I am not a silence freak, but the noise was quite loud. Not a problem when gaming, but when just browsing, I don't need that much cooling and that much noise.

So I have undervolted them to 5V (just use a fan header to molex adapter and hook the + of the fan to the 5V of the molex instead of 12V).
Now they are running a 1050 RPM @ 5V and they are a lot (and I mean A LOT) quieter.

I was a bit worry that the temp would be a lot higher (although max CPU@57*c and max GPU@50+*C I had some room to spare). But the temp have actually barely changed. There is max +1*C on the CPU when running P95, and 1-2*C on the GPU when running ATI tool rclxms.gif

Below is some 40min running P95 and ATI tool together for maximum heat generated (I have GPU + CPU on the same loop), rad fans at 5V / 1050 RPM.

user posted image

Very acceptable temperatures versus noise level which is like 10 times better than before. Now, the most noisy component in my rig during gamin are the GC caps which whistle during high load laugh.gif

I have also started to see what it would take to get to 3.6GHz from 3.2GHz. My CPU is a dude, I need to pump 1.54V idle / 1.49V load (CPU-z readings) to pass 30 min OCCT stress test shakehead.gif

But even with the fan at 5V the temps are still acceptable at max 70*C (that's the max I am willing to go anyways). But I am not sure whether I will leave run it at this voltage as this doesn't really change anything in everyday use and everything is running much hotter (including my room laugh.gif).

Now I am thinking to solder a switch to have the possibility to switch the fans from 5V to 12V when gaming. But I am not sure it is very good for the PSU hmm.gif

Hi bro clawhammer, i have already set up my water cooling system. Results seems quite satisfying with 44 degree at full load. I'm using a intel xeon E3110 at default speed. Room temp about 28 degree. Here's the pic:

[attachmentid=1212072]
The parts in my case

[attachmentid=1212074]
The placement of my radiator

Only one fan blowing my radiator and is a cheapsake 12cm fan.

Any news for my chipset block? damn my motherboard can reach 50 degree whether is idle or full load sad.gif

I think clawhammer is very good seller for delivery time. He always promised me around 2 weeks ETA but I always get my stuff in 7-8 days. That depends obviously when you place you order and when is getting a shipment. But I think I can safely say that is the fastest WCing gear seller on LYN forum wink.gif

Maybe you should put some tape or some kind of protection around the hole where the tube come inside/outside the case. It looks like t has sharp edges and I'd be worry that overtime it pierces the tubing ...

Should give testimonial lah, so many times ask his help already.

Mr Ong very good after sales service. Got problem with the items you bought? He is just a call away to help you out.

Oh btw, the Swiftech MCW60-R is cool, literally. Imagine my HD4850, idle: 36C, load: 42C. Gainward Golden Sample some more (factory OCed). Previously idle temp was like 40C, load 70C. The joy of water cooling.

Happy Chinese New Year! For the month of February, you can get this wonderful Swiftech water cooling set at only RM1,200 (look at all the premium parts included):

Swiftech Apogee XT CPU block (fits LGA775, LGA1156, LGA1366)
Swiftech MCP-655 vario pump (speed adjustable, most powerful around based on the Laing D5)
Swiftech MCR-220 radiator (best value VS performance radiator)
Swiftech MCRES V2 reservoir (small and compact reservoir)
6 feet Duralene 1/2" 3/4" tubings (softer than Masterkleer and from the same factory that made Tygon)
1 pair of Bitspower Silver Shiny 1/2" barbs (slightly bigger diameter with thin walls for optimum flow with no chances of leakage)
1 pair of Swiftech high flow 1/2" barbs (provided together with Apogee XT block)

All for RM1,200

EK products are often having quality issues and now, I am able to bring in iandh 225 reservoir which is of premium excellent quality, comes with anti-cyclone originally and only costs a bit more than the EK 250:

Mr. Clawhammer... I think all your customers already know what is it like to get WC poisoning...
Originally, wanted to get a CPU block... end up spend RMx,xxx smile.gif

But definately worth it.

Excellent dude... responsive, helpful and EVIL. Don't see the pics he sent = poison x 150%.

Definately my appointed WC supplier now. thx bro!

Bro, is that actually silver and glossy finish for the AMD mounting kit?
From Swiftech's website, it appears to be silvery and grainy texture.

Can't seem to find any pictures on the internet as of yet.

Yo, Boss..

Thanks for your support, appreciate you send me the reservoir in person.
I've completed the water cooling system, thanks for bringing us such great products.

Anyway, please help me to look out for any available NBMAX...
Here's the photo of my system.

[attachmentid=1636833]

Will contact you in future for GPU blocks, when my hand gets itchy...

Thanks, any water cooling block for the north bridge? Its heating up my 1st graphics card quite badly, adds around 10c to the card! Notice the proximity of the north bridge heat sink with the graphics card, bad design for rampage 3..
Such a pity swiftech discontinued the mcw-nbmax, it would have been perfect.
Anyway, waiting for your good news..

Hei bro,

Updated my loop with the chipset block and the UV lights bought from you.
Didn't know the loop will look so much nicer with UV lights.
Next time i will try the MDPC sleeves, looks awesome.

Swiftech has been in the market for a very long time and their QC is a lot better. It means lesser problems for buyer and seller biggrin.gif
I have a premium set now going at RM800 only, if you're interested we can discuss.

Actually all brands are more or less the same these days in terms of performance/results. The only difference is the design and reliability smile.gif Swiftech has been around for a very long time so it's a very good brand.

What is the difference between Swiftech MCP-655-B with Tach Sensor and the Switch MCP-355 ? Why Swiftech MCP-355 more expensive ?

*
MCP-655-B is bigger in size, higher flow rate, more reliable and lasts longer, silent.
MCP-355 is more compact, higher head pressure, noisier, fails faster (going by the RMA rate).

The Laing D5's (MCP-655/655-B) are more popular unless you want everything compact which you will then want to go for MCP-355. I know that certain inexperienced people would give you the wrong information (from pumps to tubings) and I have customers complaining buying the wrong thing based on their wrong recommendation smile.gif Hence, make sure you do proper research by referring to reliable forums like http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums

You basically have to know there are 2 types of fittings:

1) Barbs - commonly used and cheap
user posted image

2) Compression fittings - more expensive and secured as the cap compresses the tubing
user posted image

Either way you need one of these to work because the tubing will have to be plugged onto them.
