in short:
the co op is much more meaningful when played with people by your side.
you're in the game side by side
you're side by side with your friends in real life.

would that mean ad hoc only?

whatever the case, they want us to go out and get some friends together and play the game

think of it as boktai v2-get out of the house to experience the full game

The essence of MGS is not only in its graphic....but in the gameplay. It would be a handicap to play this type of game on ps3 or even xbox360.

MGS was born with PS controller in mind. the lack of the second analog button really blow. but I do agree with you on that gameplay thingamajig tho'..

Compared to previous teaser nonsense from Kojima Productions (including the site that teased Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker), this TGS Peace Walker site is mercifully direct. In fact, we think that the big, bold site might be a satirical overreaction to the criticism the last teaser site received.

The result is that the site is very clear about the information it wants to get across. Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker will be playable at the Tokyo Game Show, both in the form of demo units and a downloadable version, which will be nice to play while attendees are in line for other demos.
