I'm spergin' out with nerd rage now. I will never buy L4D2 at full price, ever. Maybe when it's heavily discounted, but never at full price with all the crap Valve just hauled upon us. Instead, I will use $20 to preorder NS2 instead. I am talking with my money here, money which Valve will not have because they decided to nickel and dime us all by releasing a map pack at full retail price.

Okay. Imagine that TF2 was released. As time goes by, we get some balance tweaks, a map or two, new arena mode, but nothing else special.

Then 8 months later, Valve announces TF3, which is basically TF2, but with all the class updates and the new maps that came with them.

You can't get the class updates/tweaks, maps, new payload mode and new fancy weapons in TF2, you have to buy TF3.

This is what L4D2 is like. Making us pay for updates. f*** you, Valve. Namco Bandai at least has the decency to not charge full retail for updates.
