I just received an email from UNITEN saying they are regret to inform me that my application to that Uni was unsuccessful... Sigh

All my 3 choices i put engineering...and my result not that good either..maybe that`s why they rejected me Apply after deteline? I don think so..they postponed the dateline to June 15th..i applied b4 June 1st If most of the courses full already, why they even bothered to extend the dateline?? Or maybe engineering courses are mostly full d...sigh

Appeal? usually is it useful to appeal? I wanted to take mechanical engineering but with my result,i don think i am able to get it.... btw,how to appeal?

I apply using my STPM...actually i applied last last friday but I did not submit my SPM cert, so they inform me(on Tuesday) they received my documents but one of it missing..that's my SPM cert...and asked me to submit.. I send them the cert last friday and they inform me yesterday that they received all my documents...Then this afternoon they inform me that they are regret to tell me my application are unsuccessful... sigh.

I got 2.417 for overall...i got B- for both physics and maths but it's my PA which dragged my CGPA down...I got C+ for PA...sigh..

Yeah..i am SO not good looking I din get ANY offer at all..maybe all my 3 choices i put engineering. This is wat they inform me "We regret to inform you that your application to Universiti Tenaga Nasional is unsuccessful. We are thanking you for the interest in pursuing your studies in UNITEN"

So sad

Can i appeal after the ipta results out which is on 19th ?? Cause UNITEN is not my firm choice..it`s just my backup. Just in case i cant get IPTA or my plan doesnt go well... Are you sure if i appeal i can get my choice? I know no harm trying but i just wanted to know the possibility of the outcome

How's the appeal letter look like? I never really write any appeal letter before...so I not really know how to write 1... any idea or sample?

An appeal letter I definitely know how to write la...if not, how I passed all my exams and went through my form 6? PLEASE NOTE : I WAS asking "HOW THE APPEAL LETTER LOOK LIKE"!....In terms of what it should contain and how's the way it should be? Why u had been rejected by them??? You don't fulfill their requirement or i think u apply after the the date stated for the application.

I applied b4 June 1st...and FYI...they extended the dateline to June 15th if i am not mistaken... I met the requirements but i am curious why they rejected me..last time when i applied for foundation...they rejected me as well

Ya...they extended the dateline to 15th. I manage to get a place in uniten maybe i applied early (march).Why i say so is because my results are bad (But still fulfill the requirements) but they offer me the course i applied. They informed me within a week after my application and sent me the offer letter. I guess maybe the course that you are applying is full ...!! You should phone uniten before it is too late if you still interested with uniten...!!

Ok..thanks a lot.. my case is a sad case I have been rejected for about 10days d i guess..now only wanna appeal..sound stupid rite? ...haizzz I really hope they will still accept me..my dad worked with TNB but retired early...

I just called them this morning and they asked me to fax the appeal letter and i did that! And to my surprise.........they even EXTENDED the dateline and documents submission!!!(i happened to open the website and saw it there!) hahahaha..hope they accept my appealing *fingers crossed*

hope they will reply me as soon as possible..cause i have to post the RM500 if they accepted me and then must do medical check up and so on!!not much time left...sigh. Anyways,thanks for all the forumers support

Hey,just wondering...my bro taking YTN loan and he`s going to graduate next year around July...he`s taking Finance and MArketing...I wanted to apply YTN also but the terms there stated it`s not possible to have 2 same person from 1 family to apply YTN at the same time...sigh..so, is there any way i can apply YTN?or really cant do anything?
