Did you use an adaptor with voltage great than 9v?
In the instruction manual already said mah... always use boss adaptors :-)

But if the explosion is not due to wrong voltage... then you must really share with us what you did.
I have bought & sold many boss pedals (currently have 11) & none of them ever gave me any problems.

that causes the pedal to blew...i think...but anyway.. it still looks nice like new..
i only heard the sound like POP then the smoke appear...
i am hoping that the fuse inside that blew..so it may able to be repair..

Hehe... there is no fuse in the pedal la... so sorry about that...
The smoke is from the IC within... the pedal can no longer be saved.
