Hi all, I own a cm690 casing with 4 120mm fan. 1 inlet at the front and 1 at the side panel. Exhaust is at the top& back panel of the casing. It has been less than a month but my casing is already covered in dust inside and outside. What can I do to reduce the dust and how can I clean them from my mobo ?

Install the dust filter for the side cover fan (the front fan is already having a filter).

CM 690 is good for airflow, but it also attract dust. It is quite norm ...
Try to clean your case once every month (which I am doing right now).

Hmm how do u clean it ? Dismantle everything and wash it with water ? How about the dust on the mobo and GPU ?

there's no effective way to reduce the dust effectively i'm afraid.

all u can do is to clean it regularly. the fastest way is by blowing it. don't use vacuum when ur cleaning the mobo, gc or any electrical/electronic parts as static might damage the components (diodes, chips etc).

i'm oso using the same casing, 7 90cfm fans inside running. with or without the filter in a week or 2, a thin layer of dust is alr visible inside.  sweat.gif

Hmm yea less than a month i can already see dust. By blowing it you mean using a hairdryer ?

Find a thin sponge to cover the top just like the ones provided for the front cover. Then use a filter or DIY filter (pantyhose) for all the fans.

Where can i buy filters in Penang ? Oooh the pantyhose idea is good ! I'll give it a try if i cant find the filters.
