I was just watching the highlights of our 4-1 win against Stoke. RVP was at his best with a 2 goal finish. I mean why couldn't he had the same form when we played Man Utd.

Anyways, the part where he won the penalty for us, his touch reminds me so much of the super goal Bergkamp scored against Newcastle. RVP took a touch on one side and then twisted his body to the other side and receive it totally leaving that Stoke defender for dead. Just as he was about to strike, he was tripped and we won the penalty. Great piece of skill. His second goal was equally impressive tho i must say he's damn lucky. I think Delap accidentally headed to RVP thinking he was heading to his GK. RVP took one touch and slam it home volley style in a semi scissor kick volley. Brilliant!

Well, if we want to talk about Bergy's goal, lets also not forget the screamer RVP scored against Charlton. That was a sizzler.

But honestly i can't pick any special goals this season simply because there's not one that is particularly outstanding. Dont get me wrong, those mention above here are good goals but to pick 1 special goal, just can't do it.

What i like most about Bendtner is his workrate. He may not be the most talented or deadly striker but his workrate and his willingness to drop deep to collect the ball and link up play makes him a good player to keep. Plus, he's a really good finisher in the air. There's not another player in our camp that could time the run, rise in the air and nod past the GK, as good as Bendtner does.

With Ade, he's a slightly better finisher than Bendtner. His mazy runs, the speed and his positioning. But i guess that comes with match experience. The thing about Ade, he's very seasonal. There's a period whereby he would score for instance 8 goals in 9 matches and there will be a period whereby he would run dry for 7-8 matches and looked lost in the game. What he's lacking is consistency, but of coz im not doubting his abilities when his form arrives.

I don't think he will be a flop at Real. He's too good a player to be a flop, BUT, i think he won't shine as brightly as he did in Man Utd. Lets face it, he's played his best football in Man Utd and he's had 3 super seasons in which he won titles in every one of them. This season, he's had a slight blip in form, not scoring that many goals, tho still 20+ goals.

As for his price, i don't see any reason why there's complain. If Real thinks he's that good, they have every right to spend that kinda money but trust me, Real will milk every single penny out of his marketing ability.

Wow, Ribery. That would be a dream come thru for any Arsenal fans. But at this point, we shall only treat this as rumous. And thru the years of supporting Arsenal, i've even heard of rumous of Ronaldo(Brazilian) signing for us.

can i ask something?? who is arsenal owner ha??
*
There is no owner, just major and minor share holders. Holding one of the biggest share is Danny Fiszmann. He's been around for quite a while. Second biggest should be Alisher Usmanov, the man behind Red and White Holdings where our ex Director David Dein currently sits. Also holding a relatively big share is Stan Kroenke. The rest are people like Ken Friar, Peter Hill Wood, Keith Edelman and some of which i can't remember.

Thing is, Arsenal used to be owned by 2 famous family in UK, the Hill Wood family and Bracewell Smith family. They are of coz the offsprings of the very early days owners and have the shares inherited to them. Then these guys slowly sold the shares bit by bit to the likes of David Dein, Stan Kroenke, Danny Fiszmann and etc. Of coz Red and White Holdings/Alisher Usmanov came into the picture only after David Dein left and tried to forcefully take over Arsenal. Thats where the main directors of Arsenal sign a lock down agreement in which they are not allowed to sell major shares to anyone within a certain period.

I don't mind 20 million plus player exchange in the form of Stephen Ireland. Even if 10 million plus Stephen Ireland is also a good deal for me. Ireland is the right kind of box to box player and one that has the lung of a horse.

Likewise Kimhoong, i think the accusation on Ade being lazy is abit too far fetch and unless we get a really good offer, Ade still has a place in Arsenal. Lazy strikers don't play lazily and still score 24 goals a season especially he was out for a couple of weeks here and there.

But then again, AW has his reason for selling Ade and im sure he will justify that. There will be risk selling Ade and buying a new striker. We all know what is he capable of, but the same cannot be said about buying a new striker, Chamakh, where his ability to adapt to EPL is still unknown. He might suit the EPL game like fish to water, and he might need 1 season to get used to the pace and etc.

Anyways, its been a quiet summer for Arsenal. Compared to previous season where we've been linked to every other player, this season its all Real Madrid and even Man Utd, the traditional heavy weight club where top players are linked to them, are unusually quiet with the rumours.

Good news is that Rosicky is back in the squad. I've almost forgotten how good he is and kinda looking forward to seeing him play again.

At the same time, can't seem to find Eduardo in the squad. Wondering if he's crocked or what.

With Ade gone, this has to be Nicky's year if he wants to stake his claim as the top choice striker of Gunners. Other than that, i expect the likes of Vela and Walcott to up their game this season and it would be nice to see RVP take over the top striker role.

Ade used to missed sitters like nobody's business. So why am i not surprised he's missed 1 against Kaizer Chiefs.

But really, its too early to judge whether he makes the grade in City or not. I personally think he'll do ok considering the fact he adapted so well in Arsenal after joining us mid season. I just hope he don't do an Anelka and score against us repeatedly.
